\nHuge orders were being placed
\nAnd these African countries
\nKnew
\nAnd banned Chine from buying
\nThem
\nand seemingly that’s true<\/p>\n
China’s vast population
\nUse traditional medicine they
\nAnd e Jiao is the medicine
\nThey want to use today
\nSo donkeys have been slaughtered
\nTo make this preparation
\nBut Africa is fighting back
\nFor there is no celebration
\nIn those countries losing
\nAll their donkeys To
\na country simply killing them
\nTo make some kind of glue<\/p>\n
And now of course it comes to pass
\nThis is what they do
\nOf course they eat the donkey meat
\nAnd use the hide there too
\nWesterners are up in arms
\nForgetting that our cow
\nIs also eaten and her skin
\nUsed here now any how<\/p>\n
Vegans wouldn’t entertain
\nThe practice that’s for sure
\nBut pigs for drums cows for shoes
\nAnd bags and so much more<\/p>\n
China though has other reasons
\nTo use the donkey she
\nHas some wilful recipes
\nThat there should never be
\nHere in the west salami’s
\nCan have donkey meat
\nBut the dishes used in China
\nAre anything but discreet<\/p>\n

\nWatch the flesh cut off of the body
\nAs the donkey
\nScreams they chew<\/p>\n

\nSimilarly is abused
\nBy pouring boiling water
\nOn the area to be used
\nThis on a living animal
\nSo the torture is extreme
\nThese are ancient recipes
\nAnd are rare now and would seem<\/p>\n

\nBut donkey meat they eat
\nE Jiao is a by product
\nWhich is also made into a sweet
\nMeat with nuts and raisins
\nAnd sold as GU YUAN GAO
\nEast is east and west is west
\nLeaving each group asking how<\/p>\n

The use of animals parts in medicines
\nIs under close scrutiny it’s banned in the UK for sure
\nAnd in parts of China already people are realising
\nCertain animals should not be used
\nBut of course China has a vast population
\nAnd other eastern countries have too<\/p>\n
It is up to western governments to ban
\nThe use of pangolin snake elephants and donkeys
\nIf they see fit again we need to keep the pressure up
\nTo curtail the markets where we can
\nCat and dog rat and so many other animals
