\nThe eternity of time
\nThe realness and actuality
\nIs the Birch that likes to climb
\nStraightway on a spindle
\nDirectly to the sky
\nA pioneering principle

Look out into Autumn
\nThe backbone of our year
\nThat uses winds to tear off leaves
\nAnd barks too
\nThey will clear
\nThe silvery purposeful tapestry
\nIn which to write an ode
\nWith all its pace and rhythm
\nThat stretches down the road<\/p>\n
The bard sees the great Birch tree
\nAs a symbol for his soul
\nIt’s spreads into the forest
\nWith a will just to control
\nThe peacefulness and giveness
\nThat the Druids tend to be
\nTaking on the knowledge
\nHeld in constancy<\/p>\n
The mighty oak spreads skywards
\nThe Druids honour shows
\nIs it about tradition
\nAnd such long life
\nit shows
\nA transcendence into wisdom
\nAnd true supremacy
\nMassively strong and resilient

Sacred to a point beyond
\nA sovereign let us say
\nAnd the mistletoe that sometimes does grow
\nTo be plucked upon a day
\nAround the Yule sabatt
