WE have to feel sorry for all captive Lions
\nCaught in the arrogance trap
\nReally it’s worse than the cancer we know of
\nThe absurdity of it does slap
\nA kind of euphoria onto the players
\nWhereas Those that once reigned seem inept
\nWildness was wonderful but now captivity
\nIn many ways we have swept<\/p>\n
All of that vivacious quality
\nUnder the carpet of life

\nTB is rampant we are hearing

Another big risk for the wild Lions
\nIt’s indeed a fallibility
\nWith no sage or luminary here now to question
\nAnd that possibly karma will be
\nAnd maybe perhaps will be their saving grace

\nNeed to lose that human factor

They were the kings of the jungle
\nStalwart and strong

Concealed in our purdah

\nCanned hunted victims

We have to protect them
\nTheir ardour and glow
\nTheir classic expressions

What Nature provides
\nIs the perfect design
\nAlways in ascendancy
\nAnd perfectly fine

If TB is raging
\nUnbridled you are
\nYou are ungovernable
