\nAnd feeling completely lost
\nHelpless in a frightening world
\nLife had kind of tossed
\nYou into its great chasm
\nWithout the where for all
\nAnd all the alien
\n creatures
\nLive inside their wall<\/p>\n
You are in the forest
\nYour family has gone away
\nNobody to love you
\nNobody to lay
\nBeside or on
\nNo comforts
\nNo where to get food
\nAching and now breaking
\nan alien solitude<\/p>\n
PAtience is warm and tender
\nClearly a caring soul
\nHe looks at her
\nAnd clearly trusts
\nAnd she respects her role
\nTo act as his new mother
\nAnd guardian and to try
\nTo form that bond
\nHe is clearly fond
\nOf her and we see why<\/p>\n
Rehabilitation
\nIt’s a rock for him to see
\nAlthough he is only little
\nHis great big eyes are key
\nHe assimilates behaviour
\nAnd is clearly hopeful she
\nIs his second mother
\nFor he needs her so to be<\/p>\n
He clearly can remember
\nLife has not been up to scratch
\nA lot of sadness came to be
\nTill someone did despatch
\nHim to a government compound
\nConfiscated he
\nNeeded to find a mother
\nOr a friend and urgently<\/p>\n
Lost that’s how he felt
\nBut in a human world where woe
\nAnd great machines were everywhere
\nhe wanted to go
\nIt’s as if he as an alien came
\nFrom very far away
\nAnd hope he could find friends to help him
\nPerhaps even to play<\/p>\n
The trees were high
\nThe forest dense
\nBut clearly it all made no sense
\nSo Patience was his only hope
\nHopeful she could also cope
\nAnd obviously really wanted to
\nLove him and hopeful she could do<\/p>\n
He fretted in his sleepy hours
\nOf his own family he
\nPossibly could remember
\nHow it used to be
\nBut now he had to give his trust
\nAnd with that trust he had to see
\nLearn of his surroundings
\nAnd really try to be<\/p>\n
Part of these new months ahead
\nPatience clearly was
\nPatient and so peaceful
\nIn her temperament because
\nShe understood and had empathy
\nFor her little orphan boy
\nWho if she bonded with him
\nBoth could share the joy<\/p>\n
The nurturing power of women
\nThe morality of choice
\nShe was like a forest goddess
\nWith a most divine quiet voice
\nAnd the little chimp felt happier
\nIn her arms where he
\nCould hear her warm heart beating
\nLike his did,and to free
\nHimself from tHose old memories
\nShe held him softly and he
\nWas full of admiration for her
\nWith just one look you could see<\/p>\n
