How is it possible to be a dolphin
\nOut in a wilderness sea
\nSuch an abundance of all that is good
\nIt’s where all cetaceans should be<\/p>\n
Miles upon miles of blue yonder
\nAn abundance of food fresh and wild
\nIt’s where creation had meant you to be
\nInstead you were plucked and defiled<\/p>\n
Driven to TAIJI or somewhere
\nSelected to be trained and sold
\nTo who ever places an order for you
\nShipped over by air I am told<\/p>\n
The stress of the journey is far far too much
\nBut TAIJI believed you were there’s
\nTo sell as a slave though incredibly brave
\nCatching you answered their prayers<\/p>\n
It was yen in the bank and so to be frank
\nYou were just merchandise they
\nExchanged tHe contracts they didn’t care less
\nAnd off you went far far away<\/p>\n
Into the big open prison
\nWith the most stalwart guards in your face
\nFed on frozen fish thawed out from some dish
\nWhich too a wild soul is a disgrace<\/p>\n
Thrown in a great pit of chlorine
\nExpected to do silly tricks
\nThat’s how you earn your thawed frozen fish
\nThat is how you get your fix<\/p>\n
The interaction with those prison guards
\nThey call themselves trainers they
\nDon’t have the true understanding
\nAnd they don’t have a clue what to say<\/p>\n
To be tolerant that is our makeup
\nBut humans are as complex as hell
\nMoody and broody and often get angry
\nYou are forced to be in their cell<\/p>\n
The audience pays expecting a show
\nAnd if you don’t perform well
\nYou had better know
\nThe fish will be less that’s how it will go
\nAnd we have to forgive and remain in the flow<\/p>\n
In the ocean we never stop swimming
\nThat’s how we are built tHats our thing
\nIn these rotten tanks we just log around
\nLethargically trying to bring<\/p>\n
Some energy back into living
\nIt’s so very boring to be
\nIn a small concrete tank doing nothing
\nWith nothing alive that is free<\/p>\n
We get raked we get sore we get beaten
\nAnd often cannot understand
\nWe each have our very soeciallanguage
\nAnd others were not in our band<\/p>\n
When it happens they paint out the scarring
\nSo tHe public don’t see how we pain
\nThey really don’t show any pity
\nAnd it’s happens again and again<\/p>\n
It’s all about money and tickets
\nIt’s all about those Chinese toys
\nThey give us all sorts of antibiotics
\nBut we really can’t stand all the noise<\/p>\n
Stereophonic loud music it deafens us
\nEach time it’s played
\nAnd we are expected to then do our tricks
\nThat’s how Sea World do get paid<\/p>\n
As for the killer whales they really suffer
\nAll on their own what to do
\nAll that chlorination its not Their
\nsalvation
\nIt plays havoc with their skin and that’s true<\/p>\n
All Aqua parks should be shut down
\nAnd we taken back to the sea
\nSea pens and tanks are so useless
\nWe live in our toilet and be<\/p>\n
Expected to eat there and work there
\nThe stress levels really are high
\nNothing at all alive in our tanks
\nIf we could speak we would,ask why<\/p>\n
No coral or sea plants nothing at all
\nNo gravel no waves none at all
\nJust a big sterile tank d now to be frank
\nAnd we always must be On the ball<\/p>\n

\nOn the contrary we are more listless
\nDepressed about being down here
\nThe smell of that chlorine it sickens us so
\nAnd all of the people spell fear<\/p>\n
YEs we know you make so much money
\nYour great pleasure parks do you proud
\nWe are just another novelty
