They lived in the sun

\nThey knew where it laid
\nThey ate the wild food
\nTheir tucker they knew
\nNothing could phase them
\nNot even you<\/p>\n
The white man he came
\nAnd what did he say
\nHe shouted and screamed
\nWhen he took us away
\nAway to the prison
\nA chain on our neck
\nA chain on our ankles
\nTo keep us in check<\/p>\n
Thrown on the back of cart
\nIn full sun
\nThey carted us miles
\nWhen all is said and done
\nThey treated us badly
\nThey knocked us around
\nAs if We were the first fucking men
\nThat they found<\/p>\n
We were indigenous we knew the score
\nWe were at peace
\nWe didn’t want war
\nBut they beat us around and they swore
\nAt us too
\nAnd they called out our women
\nIt’s what they shouldn’t do
\nBecause we might be wild
\nBut we do have souls
\nMaybe we are chained up

The universe gives us fresh air

Don’t talk us down

\nTo be the aboriginie
\nYea the first people
\nThe outback our place
\nThe roo is our friend

We walked and we slept

\nDon’t disrespect dont throw us a chain
\nWe are as human as you are
