{"id":29195,"date":"2016-09-03T14:54:56","date_gmt":"2016-09-03T14:54:56","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/cooksdelight.co.uk\/blog\/?p=29195"},"modified":"2016-09-03T15:02:19","modified_gmt":"2016-09-03T15:02:19","slug":"tigers-on-farms","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cooksdelight.co.uk\/blog\/2016\/09\/tigers-on-farms\/","title":{"rendered":"Tigers on farms"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The biggest wild cat in the world<br \/>\nAnd it&#8217;s the tiger<br \/>\nWho was hurled<br \/>\nout of his magical kingdom to<br \/>\nLive his incarnation through<br \/>\nBig and heavy and lives on his own<br \/>\nWith a camouflage thats his alone<br \/>\nCan run at 65 miles per hour<br \/>\nAnd can swim too and just loves a shower<\/p>\n<p>A century ago we know<br \/>\n100,000 were alive<br \/>\nNow 3000 or so in the wild<br \/>\nTrying to survive<br \/>\nLocked In cages<br \/>\nOr left to run<br \/>\nIn enclosures when the day is done<br \/>\nA Treeless existence<br \/>\nA hell on earth<br \/>\nWith nothing for them<br \/>\nOf any worth<\/p>\n<p>This is man unkind today<br \/>\nAnd let us thank the E I A<br \/>\nFor the good work that they do<br \/>\nReally trying to get through<br \/>\nTo governments and officialdom<br \/>\nThrough webs of vile intrigue<br \/>\nCriminality and vast corruption<br \/>\nOut of the obvious league<\/p>\n<p>CHina has a place in all of this<br \/>\nThat much we know<br \/>\nIt stimulates and perpetuates<br \/>\nThe trade and it does grow<br \/>\nSkins as rugs and bones as wine<br \/>\nMeat to eat as well<br \/>\nTeeth and claws and paws<br \/>\nSeemingly a hell<\/p>\n<p>On Earth for our wild creatures<br \/>\nWho have their role to play<br \/>\nThey make their mark with Nature<br \/>\nWho creates them everyday<br \/>\nThey have their instinctive knowledge<br \/>\nUnlike mankind who<br \/>\nGets brainwashed by the system<br \/>\nTo do what he does do<\/p>\n<p>Take hunters for example<br \/>\nPsychopaths with guns<br \/>\nFarmers seldom charmers<br \/>\nTheir arrogance just stuns<br \/>\nThose of us who realise<br \/>\nThe measure and the worth<br \/>\nOf those who Live off subsidies<br \/>\nFor polluting the earth<\/p>\n<p>In Xiongsen Tiger and Bear Mountain<br \/>\nThat is in Guilin<br \/>\nThere they farm the Tigers<br \/>\nA place of actual sin<br \/>\n1200 tigers In Enclosures<br \/>\nStruggling to be<br \/>\nHalf as fit as their counterparts<br \/>\nLiving wild and free<\/p>\n<p>Many more in cages<br \/>\nGoing off their head<br \/>\nPounding back and forth and back<br \/>\nTheir eyes look glazed and dead<br \/>\nThey really are in such a state<br \/>\nOf lethargy and woe<br \/>\nAnd outside loads of government cars<br \/>\nAll part of the show<\/p>\n<p>And monkeys little capuchins<br \/>\nWho look the worse for wear<br \/>\nWaiting to be slaughtered<br \/>\nAnd end up yea somewhere<br \/>\nProbably some elixir<br \/>\nTo give old men a way<br \/>\nBrown bears for bile<br \/>\nAnd Chinese style<br \/>\nAnd Bone wine so they say<\/p>\n<p>All this with our tiger boys<br \/>\nAnd realise that here<br \/>\nThey are selling in their gift shop<br \/>\nTiger wine it is clear<br \/>\nThat Tiger farming is lucrative<br \/>\nWhatever China writes<br \/>\nLook at the government officials here<br \/>\nIt&#8217;s all within our sights<\/p>\n<p>132 US.
