Who knows who we might meet
\nOn a cool Autumn day
\nIn the woods in the quiet
\nWhere no mortal ray
\nCan reach where the animals
\nQuietly come eat
\nWhere hunters may be
\nAwaitingtheir treat<\/p>\n
Watching the innocent
\nWild folk at play
\nTo be aimed at and slaughtered
\nOn any given day
\nThe minds of these humans
\nSo called
\nBut I doubt
\nThey ever were humans
\nFor as such theyflout<\/p>\n
Who we meet who we see
\nIn The silence of night
\nWith our heads on our pillows
\nPerhaps the moonlight
\nHides those now waiting
\nTo take out those who
\nMost of us love to watch
\nYes even you<\/p>\n
These vile individuals
\nWho loathe all wild souls
\nWho wound them and kill them
\nWho take on the roles
\nOf the great executioner
\nOf fairy folk
\nOur beloved animals
\nAlways bespoke<\/p>\n
I’ m a man of the forest
\nI dwell in the glade
\nI speak to the foxes
\nAnd badgers I have laid
\nMy heart down before them
\nAnd sung to the deer
\nWhen out there beyond me
\nAre those we all fear<\/p>\n
The hunter the trapper
\nIn their four by four
\nWith their shot guns and rifles
\nTo challenge deaths door
\nOur innocent friends
\nWho do nobody harm
\nWho walk though the forest and
\nAll remain calm<\/p>\n
The hunter man feels
\nHe needs blood on his hands
\nScheming and dreaming
\nAnd making his plans
\nBreaking up families
\nTorturing those
\nWho live in the darkness
