Glyphosate a chemical herbicide to boot
\nA substance that could have been banned
\nBut apparently it didn’t suit
\nThe unelected commission
\nIn the great EU
\nWho decided we should have some more
\nAnd made Monsanto’s dreams come true<\/p>\n
Another 18 months of it
\nSprayed every bloody where
\nIn our public parks and gardens
\nIn our streets most unaware
\nOf just how bloody horrible
\nThis substance is but they
\nDecided it was perfectly acceptable today<\/p>\n
The round up it is coming
\nFor the people everywhere
\nWe have so little say in what goes on
\nWe have to share our poems and our knowledge
\nWhat else can we do
\nWe have to keep away from it
\nThat much I know is true<\/p>\n
Brexit took us out of that political
\nUnion where
\nUnelected nobody’s actually declare
\nWhat we do and where we go
\nAnd how and what for they
\nAre our lords and masters
\nOn any given day<\/p>\n
Campaigners through out Europe
\nHad made it very clear
\nThey wanted an all out ban
\nBut the corporates were clear
\nForget the views of people
\nWe don’t matter any more
\nBEsides we are just numbers
\nThey decide what’s for<\/p>\n
And so another 18 months
\nAnd by the end of that
\nProbably another 18 months
\nDon’t chew the fat
\nTHe EU isn’t freedom
\nTHe EU isn’t fair
\nWho needs s
\nA single market
\nWhere its leaders do not care<\/p>\n
For individual nation states
\nAnd much less you and me
\nWe are just a nuisance
\nThat much we can see
\nThe unelected highly paid
\nHave said its going to be
\nNot only sprayed just everywhere
\nBut in vaccines too
\nOh I see?<\/p>\n
Now I realise why it is
\nThe vaccination thing
\nOf course we cannot ban a substance
\nThat they are going to bring
\nInto all those needles
\nAnd our children who
\nAre going to get their extra shots
