\nAn RSPCA appointed
\nFarm is honestly annointed
\nImagine it the forest stretching
\nOut across the verdant plain
\nThe sky above the trees together
\nOn our Backs The gentle rain<\/p>\n
The capacity for virtue giving
\nAny handsome hog a place
\nFunctional and multipurpose
\nA capacity for full on grace
\nBlessings and such benediction
\nBetterment of the shared life
\nIn the most natural conditions
\nWhilst waiting for the blunt dull knife<\/p>\n
There’s the sign it’s on the wall there
\nRSPCA So we
\nCan rest assured our freedoms coming
\nA heaven sent utility
\nLove and light is all around us
\nFarmed we are but heaven sent
\nIt’s our blessing in disguise
\nEdifying and content<\/p>\n
Oink oink oink engage a moment
\nUp to our bellies in our own poop
\nThis is a damnable troublous disservice
\nAnd we are clearly in the soup
\nOf circumstance of profit making
\nUrged on by our sense of grief
\nThe public have their own perception
\nBlimey that’s such a relief<\/p>\n
The noble farmer from a good family
\nKnown around these parts for years
\nHe knows how to do things properly
\nPurposeful so it appears
\nBut come into these dark surroundings
\nTry to breathe as if you can
\nHear the screams of handsome hogs
\nHoping that a nicer man<\/p>\n
Will come to care will share his wisdom
\nThe promise of good husbandry
\nNot the shit hole of existence
\nThat I find is where I be
\nA crying evil all pervading
\nEvery pore within my soul
\nIs suffering the kind of trauma
\nThat was never to be my role<\/p>\n
It’s foul and shameful and so distressing
\nTo imagine heaven and find a hell
\nThe RSPCA that outrage
\nHelps apparently to sell
\nOur flesh and blood when life is over
\nThe caring sharing carnivore
\nWill part with measly dimes and purchase
\nPossibly a few pound more<\/p>\n
But little do they know our lives
\nWere futile in the sense of things
\nWe lived in squalor by design
\nAnd the bravado that it brings
\nTo noble farmers who walk tall
\nTheir faultlessness is wall to wall
\nwe are the systems victims, we
\nWallow in his poverty<\/p>\n
His lack of hygiene is everywhere
\nThe noxiousness of his given air
\nUndrinkable water fouled and smelly
\nWhen we drink it pains our belly
\nNo ventilation a pest house here
\nMorbific madness ever clear
\nThe drains are clogged infections ride
\nHuge blue bottles rest inside<\/p>\n
Each visitation makes me feel
\nThe need to puke which feels so real
\nMaggots crawling in the soup
\nMade up chiefly with our own poop
\nAnd piss and blood what can we say
\nWhen the sign says yes RSPCA<\/p>\n
As for inspections we can’t remember
\nDid we get one last November
\nThey came but did they come to see
\nThe state of us no guarantee
\nIt might have happened I can’t be sure
\nBut anyone coming though this door
\nWould feel the evil clouds surround
\nTheir being as they hit the ground<\/p>\n
Prepare yourselves dear carnivore
\nWho think it’s worth paying some more
\nRealise the RSPCA did nothing for us
\nNot any day
\nWe suffered long we suffered so
\nWe were beaten up that I do know
\nBiting our bars and going crazy
\nLeft us all just so hazy<\/p>\n
To whether inspectors ever came
\nWhatever the fucking sign did claim
\nWhen we left that shit hole to go to our death
\nOutside we all took one long breath
\nDeath with his sickle would soon be here
\nAnd it was a godsend when he did appear<\/p>\n
I dedicate this little poem to every pig that ever was farmed and ended up in the slaughterhouse trillions of them made to live in extreme conditions of filth brought about not by the animals but by ignorant human beings<\/p>\n
