\nImpervious to the spoken word
\nA callous attempted getting rid
\nOf the African painted dogs who bid
\nTo escape their fear was all the more
\nFrightful that he had planned this

Their mortal flight all so afraid
\nSeveral escaped but it had weighed
\nHeavily on the others who
\nWere cut down running which was true
\nThe lions were starving which is why
\nThe wild dogs really had to fly

The African Lion faces utter despair

\nFor CTM most clueless too
\nAnd South African stocks are also high
\nWhich in a nutshell is why many die
\nCanned hunting and trophies and bones
\nShippeD away
\nSome for the tiger cake which really does pay
\nSome for the pills and somefor the wine
\nThey couldn’t care less how far off the line<\/p>\n
They go and these sanctuaries really they must
\nBe closed Down they really have to go bust
\nThey are not what they say they are
\nAnd what we see
\nAre starving Lions and so much cruelty
\nAnd a market that’s waiting across the sea
\nTo bump up the profits accordingly
\nWith polluted mindsets and some scarcity
\nThe great lions of Africa their cruelty
\nAs for the African painted dogs they
\nAlso are suffering and made to pay
\nThe ingloriousness and ignominy here
\nIncreases the margin and heightens the
\nFear<\/p>\n
Lay people really must stay wide awake
\nTo appreciate those who want more of the cake
\nThe fakes they are everywhere knocking it back
\nThe low life are out there dodging the flack
\nShowing a loathing for wild souls and more
\nDenouncing their value by breaking the law
\nBy forgetting the souls that gave them their all
\nBy being unpitying that does appal
\nAnd by actually breaking every rule<\/p>\n
SOuth Africa suffers such karmic debt
\nIt sits on the sidelines covered in sweat
\nIt’s iconic Lions suffering so
\nIt’s wonderful wild dogs wanting to show
\nTheir prowess their truth for nobody sees
\nAll the great wonders that so often please
\nWe need to go backwards and realise we
\nHave a glorious country with animals free
\nTo live in the great parks their life we must share
