Coming into this world
\nThe miraculous way
\nI slipped out of my mother
\nAnd into that day
\nThe sky was as blue
\nAs it ever could be
\nAnd the snow was so white
\nI could hardly see<\/p>\n
It was cold it’s was fresh
\nIt was where Inshould be
\nIn the land of the glaciers
\nClose to the sea
\nMY mother was beautiful
\nAnd so was I
\nPlaced in a spot
\nTo just quietly lie<\/p>\n
Bears and your essence
\nWas clearly to be
\nIn a world with few people
\nStaring at thee
\nIn a wild wilderness
\nWhere freedom did rule
\nShe was so big
\nAnd I was so small<\/p>\n
It was a privilege
\nJust to be there
\nBut tragedy struck
\nFor there in our lair
\nCame hunters the vile brood
\nAnd that great bond they broke
\nSlaughtered my mother
\nJust at a stroke <\/p>\n
I remember her growl
\nAnd the ice was All red
\nFrom her blood loss
\nAlas my mother was dead
\nI had lost my parent
\nOn that awful day
\nWhen the darkness descended
\nAnd took me away<\/p>\n
MOrelia Zoo was the new home for me
\nDesigned for a grizzly that I could see
\nA heavily chlorinated swamp and all bare
\nAnd the sun was so hot just to be there
\nBaking and taking my body to task
\nThe thick shield of blubber I began to ask
\nWhy would they put me here it shouldn’t be
\nI need the cold climes and the colder sea<\/p>\n
But this is my fate twenty years
\nOf this pain
\nLeft in the dark my life so in vain
\nBrutally hot the violence became
\nPart of my life and my end game
\nI remember my mothers leyes closing that day
\nI remember the hunters who stole me away
\nI recall that their stink was fetid and vile
\nWhich I never have been able to in fact reconcile<\/p>\n
And now I am old I am wasting away
\nThey promised to move me that’s what they say
\nBut with so much violence outside the zoo
\nNobody comes here really that’s true
\nAnd the heat is oppressive it’s awful to be
\nRoasting on this concrete this hell hole for me
\nIf there was a god surely he would try
\nAnd get me away from here before I die<\/p>\n
Why did they shoot her and just leave her there
\nWhy take me away
\nA young polar bear
\nIt made no sense such a futile embrace
\nMy broken heart and their lack of grace
\nAggressive and ignorant that was each day
\nShooting and killing and making us pay
\nSo they could feel powerful
\nAnd think they were strong
\nBut reality proves to me
\nThey all were wrong<\/p>\n
Mexico’s hot unbearably so
\nAnd for me there is no where
\nThat I can go
\nNo shade at all and water that smells
\nThey never change it
\nIt’s one of the hells
\nOf being around human beings
\nFor they
\nHave no idea of the natural way<\/p>\n
It’s all about profit and thats every zoo
\nHow can a polar bear really live through
\nSuch evil and horror
\nAnd malevolent thought
\nThey lack all conscience
\nTheir care factor nought<\/p>\n
Will somebody help me
\nGet out of this hole
\n20 long years for a tired wretched soul
\nWho prays to the heavens most every day
\nThat death with his sickle
\nWill cart me away<\/p>\n
I am hoping my eyes will not open
\nTomorrow
\nThe zoo will not care
\nNo cause for sorrow
\nI will be dead and suffering no more
\nWhich the rest of the world
\nWill just ignore<\/p>\n
I am just a bear a prisoner who
\nBecame a victim of the hunters who do
\nMurder and maim and they do it for fun
\nI was moved from the ice
\nTo live under the sun
\nTo boil and to roast and to suffer such pain
\nAfter I am gone please don’t do this again<\/p>\n
ZOOS Are an anathema they insult humanity
\nAnd they have not the slightest idea about
\nPlacement and creation.<\/p>\n
They are corporates who care about the pursuit of profit
\nAt all cost. We are the victims of this evil.<\/p>\n
