\nrepellant and monstrous
\na family of hunters
\nin their four by four
\ninto the bush
\nwith all of their armoury
\nsat in the vehicle
\nstarting a war<\/p>\n
this isn’t hunting
\nthis is vulgarity
\nthis isn’t stalking
\nthis is obscene
\nthese men are murderers
\nand they have a child with them
\nwind up the terror
\nhow ravaged and mean<\/p>\n
this is pure wickedness
\nabuse of the wild ones
\nquite diabolic even to see
\nto imagine the fear and the pain
\nand the suffering
\nclearly their chasing
\nand all of that strain<\/p>\n
you can feel in their bodies
\ntheir muscles are racing
\na shameful affliction
\na damnable trait
\ndriving towards and shooting directly
\nthis is satanic i don’t have to wait<\/p>\n
and be told by the others
\nthat this is acceptable
\nnothing like this can be right for me
\nthese are the worst kind of horrible hunters
\ntheir badness is obvious as we can see
\ninsult to injury rough and obnoxious
\nthis is depravity where is their guilt
\nwatching the wild souls fall and lay kicking
\nthis is intolerable I don’t wish to see<\/p>\n
men clearly out there to punish the animals
\nthey are a pestilence this cannot be
\nallowed in this day and age this is just scandalous
\ncreating a burden of adversity
\nthey gallop in terror you really can feel it
\nfoaming and combing their eyes bulging so
\nthey have been ambushed it really is menacing
\nthey feel so vulnerable that is the key
\nthey grapple for oxygen fighting back tiredness
\nbeset by the fear that locks up their limbs
\nthey have little resistance and no expectation
\nthey are on a war footing that we now know<\/p>\n
the child has a rifle and he is now aiming
\nout of the car through the window he fires
\nat birds on the ground a great puff of dust rises
\nso very aggressive a great cross of wires
\nWildebeest even a Rhino lies fallen Buffalo Monkeys
\nno beast stands a chance
\nno soul stands an earthly
\nthey are all meant as targets
\nmeshing the gears and scraping the tyres<\/p>\n
serenity brooding the light and the shade
\na sweet meditation upon a green glade
\nthe wettest arena the Deer in the field
\nthis their prosperity raising their yield
\nhere comes the hunters Toyota in tow
\nout of the window more shots that grow
\ncrying and screaming and suffering so
\ntheir freedom is lost in the free born wild glow<\/p>\n
with victims still kicking men leap out and fight
\ntread down on their legs and this in spite
\nof injuries clearly they fight for their life
\nbut are treated so badly which cannot be right
\n4 men and one small deer already shot
\nfighting to claim the freedom but not\\
\nmanaging really for torture is high
\nclose up another shot and then they die<\/p>\n
get out the knife the throat is sliced through
\nthe guts are pulled out thats what butchers do
\nwho the hell are hunters and how can this be
\nallowed by Tanzania its all wrong to me
\nthey are smitten my evil benumbed by refrain
\nintoxicated their heart strings doth drain
\nthe tenderness called for will never be heard
\nthey are squalid and artless and really insane<\/p>\n
that baby zebra as frightened as hell
\nits tasteless and tawdry
\nwhen nothings done well
\nobtrusive behaviour
\nconceited as hell
\nego overflowing
\nso I hear tell<\/p>\n
they were a rabble a much lesser breed
\nbog trotting snot bags the low born who feed
\non defiance and bluster and much disrespect
\nimpudent rotters the world should reject
\nneglectful of care so scurrilous too
\nall those animals suffered its not what to do
\nthey are under a cloud and the laws should now be
\ncoming down hard on them for all I see
