The heartless cannot watch
\n“Earthlings”
\nthey cannot bear to be
\nresponsible that may be so
\nbut they just cannot break free
\nhow can they be implicated
\nin what’s going on
\nall they do is eat dead flesh
\nand all that’s served upon
\ntheir plates
\nits what their parents did
\nits what they always do
\nits why their body odour is rank
\nas is their loo.<\/p>\n
and they’re not about to stop now
\njust because, someone says they
\nshould really be a vegan
\non facebook no, no way
\nbloody flesh and marrow bones
\nand fat and gristle too
\nturn them on, they cook them up
\nand make them into stew
\nor sometimes add some gelatine
\npork gristle hooves and bone
\nand slice a glorious aspic
\nthat they have always known
\nas for cheese nice Cheddar
\ncoagulated by
\nthe lining of a baby calf
\nstomach they rely
\nyour never going to change them
\ndead babies they eat too
\nsuckling pig and baby lamb
\nwith fresh mint sauce to woo
\nand at breakfast streaky bacon
\nfrom the sick gestation crate
\nthe poor sow raped and knocked about
\nat an alarming rate
\ndreaming she could sprout wings
\nand fly off somewhere green
\nbut instead she’s in the slaughterhouse
\nthroat slit a virgin queen
\nraped by men with slimy arms
\nher babies stolen fast
\ntails docked teeth clipped
\ntesticles pulled out
\nwe stand aghast
\nwondering why they will not watch
\nthey will not dare to see
\nthat what they eat are tortured souls
