Behold there is a phantom
\nThat survives on its wildness
\nIt loves the deep snow
\nIts a sociable brute
\nHumans are good at
\nReferring to Devils
\nAnd demons and such like
\nBlackening characters
\nBut at its root<\/p>\n
Is a marvellously caring
\nMother all sharing
\nSociable animals
\nRaring to go
\nThey can climb like the clappers
\nAnd run at all flappers
\nMore than 20 miles a day
\nThey really know<\/p>\n
Very intelligent
\nThey can get to grips with things
\nVery affectionate
\nAnd very tough
\nA genuine carnivore
\nFeared by so many
\nThey are self reliant
\nThere is never enough<\/p>\n
They will go for a goat
\nA much heavier animal
\nAnd bring it down and eat every bit
\nGrinding the bones for the oils
\nThey are clever
\nNothing is wasted
\nThey work at being fit<\/p>\n
They eat what they should eat
\nThey exercise often
\nRunning up inclines
\nThey hardly ever slow
\nIn the Glacier National Park
\nOf Montana
\nSurvival is theres
\nThrough the wind and the snow<\/p>\n
Their secretive world
\nIs safe far from humans
\nSee humans and hide
\nIts the best course to take
\nHumans are hunters ignorant idiots
\nReady to target for nobody’s sake<\/p>\n
But their own,they are guilty
\nOf changing the outcome
\nDestroying habitats
\nLaid down before
\nBalance is set by the mother of mothers
\nMan comes along
\nAnd wisdom does ignore<\/p>\n
The wolverine runs he’s the avalanche
\nMammal
\nHe has a powerful nose and can detect
\nAnimals buried in snow 20 foot drifts
\nA very big heart for a such a small body
\nHis relatives weasels his audacity
\nLifts
\nHis demeanour a lot even the grizzly
\nMight fight shy of him
\nThats what they are like
\nLike the wolf their reputation does go before
\nThem
\nWhen they go for the kill
\nIts a terrible strike <\/p>\n
All the gristle and bone
\nSkin and horn
\nWill be eaten
\nGround up, the oils nothing
\nIs Left to waste
\nThey know what to do
\nTo survive in the wilderness
\nAnd they remain true
\nWhich has to be faced<\/p>\n
Make sensational films
\nCall them Devil beast animals
\ncreate reputations
\nThat throw up much fear
\nDemons of the North
\nCome forth
\nwith your great fangs
\nSo you shake in your boots
\nIf one does appear<\/p>\n
But always remember
\nIts true to itself
\nIt lives where its put
\nAnd it eats what is there
\nWhat we have made of it
\nIs down to our ignorance
\nDown to our foolishness
\nAnd our despair<\/p>\n
Its pays to be secretive
\nThats a good reason
\nStay off the tracks where
\nThe human souls go
\nBe what you are and do
\nWhat you are doing
\nWith all that instinct
\nStay in the flow<\/p>\n
We can learn much from the wilderness
\nPeople
\nLeft to their own guile and intelligence they
\nTake on vile climates and just push on through it
\nAnd they always look healthier
