{"id":28228,"date":"2016-06-08T16:00:48","date_gmt":"2016-06-08T16:00:48","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/cooksdelight.co.uk\/blog\/?p=28228"},"modified":"2016-06-08T16:07:33","modified_gmt":"2016-06-08T16:07:33","slug":"temples-and-tigers-and-buddhists-and-money","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cooksdelight.co.uk\/blog\/2016\/06\/temples-and-tigers-and-buddhists-and-money\/","title":{"rendered":"Temples and tigers and buddhists and money"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Temples and Tigers and buddhists and money<br \/>\nThe homogenisation is a cocktail of pain<br \/>\nIt can stem from the needs to enhance the ego<br \/>\nBut breaking the Third Precept clearly no gain<br \/>\nTo derive a  pleasure from sentient beings<br \/>\nIs not the done thing though of course we all know<br \/>\nThere are many stories of wild animals responding<br \/>\nTo some  human kindness and love which does grow<br \/>\nThailand and Laos and Myanmar are<br \/>\nNeighbouring countries with a doctrinal core<br \/>\nThus Theravada expresses their  teachings<br \/>\nOf The Pali canon of  its cultures and more<br \/>\nAlongside the teachings comes  a different culture<br \/>\nBorders  and great roads to riches galore<br \/>\nWhat became the Temple of Tigers in Thailand<br \/>\nHappened apparently in 1994<\/p>\n<p>A forest sanctuary for some wild tigers<br \/>\nIts kind of all secret  bound on certain traits<br \/>\nAn ignorant mass to an arrogant leadership<br \/>\nWhat could be happening inside those gates<br \/>\nLittle or no policing apparently<br \/>\nSo many tigers and cubs brought to bear<br \/>\nIn just twenty years the temple was able<br \/>\nTo register trade routes the tigers to share<\/p>\n<p>Absoluteness and  potentiality<br \/>\nPoaching and money inherent out there<br \/>\nNirvana and prana and being aware<br \/>\nPut into perspective<br \/>\nThe teachings are clear<br \/>\nA lucrative market of mayhem and more<br \/>\nIn fact breaking the precepts and teachings<br \/>\nExchanging the principles of blood and gore<\/p>\n<p>The offerings made to be taken and honoured<br \/>\nAll that was heart felt they could ignore<br \/>\nNot educate people to offer the truest<br \/>\nOf food not at all for  to share in the core<br \/>\nOf ones being the whole damned religion was party<br \/>\nTo corruption and terror and involvement and more<br \/>\nIt is easy to see how the weak can be led<br \/>\nBy the arrogant leaders who clearly were sure<\/p>\n<p>Hoodwinking the volunteers brought into help them<br \/>\nSimilarly the tourist trade too<br \/>\nWalking with Tigers sitting on Tigers<br \/>\nDrugged up and toothless sadly that was true<br \/>\nTraditional medicine and the black market<br \/>\nIn body parts teeth skin and penises too<br \/>\nContracts with Laos tiger cubs frozen<br \/>\nWithin the compass what did they do<\/p>\n<p>Animal rights had been saying for years<br \/>\nSomething  is happening and needs to be<br \/>\nIts been under the guise of the great Buddhist shadow<br \/>\nMuddle and chaos and disharmony<br \/>\nNow they have found jars of Tiger Cub remains<br \/>\nAnd frozen cubs too<br \/>\nClearly the temple was up to no good<br \/>\nAll the worst intentions all through<\/p>\n<p>The Tigers have gone the swoop it came quickly<br \/>\nWhere was the abbot seemingly gone<br \/>\nWhere were their consciences the racketeering<br \/>\nClearly unscrupulousness it was upon<br \/>\nUnethical dealings a den of villainy<br \/>\nMisdeeds and misdoing graceless and unclean<br \/>\nAnarchic and ungovernable the so called spirit<br \/>\nTheir day of reckoning it has to have been<br \/>\nBased on unrighteousness and degeneration<br \/>\nCorruption depravity all rolled in one<br \/>\nShamelessness where was the innocence truthfully<br \/>\nLots of lost souls  when the day was done<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Temples and Tigers and buddhists and money The homogenisation is a cocktail of pain It can stem from the needs to enhance the ego But breaking the Third Precept clearly no gain To derive a pleasure from sentient beings Is &hellip;
