All of us are indigenous of somewhere
\nBut the indigenous are looked upon today
\nAs second class or even third class citizens
\nThey thirst for independence in a way
\nOthers who just live where they have always lived
\nAnd have not been seen as savages lets say
\nWho speak a different language who live a different set of rules
\nWho were the very first people their way<\/p>\n
Different but no worse than those inhabiting
\nThe places where once the indigenous only were
\nThey were the guardians of the actual planet
\nThey cared they shared and they fared and did prefer
\nTo live much closer to the planets fabric
\nPollution not their way as we concur
\nThose people took the land and carved their message
\nWorked the trees and stubble into calm
\nThey grew their crops and made the country safer
\nAnd people came along and were free from harm
\nProgress took a hold and glass and concreteTook over from the animal skins and bark
\nBut land that belong to those who had first lived there
\nWas stolen from them as we made our mark<\/p>\n
Pollution was our gift that we returned to them
\nEvery waterway and field all were
\nPolluted with the industry of commerce
\nAnd now we look around and dare infer
\nThat their land is now our land though we stole it and we knew
\nThe pristine fertile areas now were very few
\nindian land or aboriginals Land as it is known
\nWas stolen by our people and the indigenous were thrown
\nOff the land into the reservations where they had
\nTo make home that was what we felt which in every way was sad<\/p>\n
And now it is no better we still achieve the bad
\nMining on their fertile plains uranium its sad
\nTo see the tribes of the innocent suffering as they do
\nThey struggled long and hard they did and we were far from true
\nwe stole their land we maimed them we sank our talons deep
\nWe built incineration and poisoned them whilst they sleep
\nUranium on their lands tailings everywhere
\nThe indigenous we murder them and we tell ourselves its fair
\nWe all now come from somewhere and we all should realise
\nThat stealing land from our brothers and our sisters in the guise
\nOf it is ours already and they should be ashamed
