We are seeing changing fortunes
\nAs sea ice melts much more
\nThe supremely adapted to the frozen world
\nAre coming unstuck for sure
\nThe Polar Bear for instance
\nBegins to catch his cold
\nThe Killer Whales
\nnow thats another story
\nOne of old<\/p>\n
The Arctic climes are melting
\nAnd its creatures suffering so
\nThe Narwal and the Polar Bear
\nAnd the bow head whales, they know
\nThat if this keep on keeping on
\nThat the Orca may just be
\nThe biggest thing since the dinosaur
\nAnd that in fact is key<\/p>\n
The ice is what its all about
\nAnd if it melts too much
\nThe polar bears has had his chips
\nHe is kind of out of touch
\nIf its free of ice in Summer
\nThen expect the Killer Whale
\nThey are really on the ball
\nAnd actually will not fail<\/p>\n
They are big social hunters
\nAs the inuits will say
\nQuick to learn the ropes and turn
\nThe advantages all their way
\nThey are brilliant at remembering
\nAnd quicker to adapt
\nWhatever prey they are after
\nThey kind of get them trapped<\/p>\n
Whatever and where ever
\nThey have it everywhere
\nThere is nothing they cant sort out
\nYou can just feel the despair
\nThey have the second largest brain around<\/p>\n

\nAnd all the while they are sharing

\nWhat Sea world did to Orca’s set them back do you hear
\nStopped them in their proverbial tracks
\nDelaying them for a while
\nBut they had so much patience

If jumping through our hoops a bit and splashing all

\nKilling a few trainers who found that they were
\nHurled
\nbeside them on their journey

\nThe bowhead whales maybe
\nArctic char the orca’s star in the drama readily
\nThey have an amazing talent
\nThey are learning very fast

\nNo creature really anywhere can just say they are gone
\nThey have to get to grips with them
\nLook and learn each day
\nIts all about ecology
\nAnd putting it away<\/p>\n
There is nothing they won’t master
\nVictims are everywhere
\nIts always been a wonder how the humans
\nHow they fair
\nWhy they let the aquariums
\nAnd the sea parks get their way
\nWhen they could all leap skywards and crash down
\nOn us anyway<\/p>\n
The great food chain was changing
\nThe whales come in from miles
\nThey make a dramatic entrance
\nYou can see now all those dials
\nFlickering every which way
\nThats dramatic stuff
\nAnd everything they battle for
\nThey get it despite how tough<\/p>\n
How many tights are laddered
\nHow many skirts are split
\nThese orca boys are on the job
\nAnd of course are extra fit<\/p>\n
They develop all the strategies
\nSalmon rays and more
\nThe narwal and the grey whale
\nAnd mankind soon in the store
\nTechniques designed for bettering
\nThe much larger prey around
\nThe giant bow heads successful souls
\nCrystal clear I have found<\/p>\n
The polar -Bears are frantic
\nThey have no where to go
\nThey can jump about the ice all day
\nBut if theres nothing down below
\nAnd if they smash it through
\nWith all their weight
\nAnd end up in the sea
\nMaybe they need a new habitat a new life
\nYes maybe<\/p>\n
Orca’s are good at hunting
\nDriving them to the shore narwhals
\nDon’t have a vast draught
\nAnd they are pretty sure
\nThey have the where for all to be
\nOut there breathing air
\nSplashing their tails like crazy
\nAnd nobody can fair<\/p>\n
They are not up to a ducking
\nIn salty water cold
\nThey are confident
\nBut the chasers are very clearly bold
\nLots of new inventions
\nAttributed so they
\nCan do their dirty every time
\nAnd look the other way<\/p>\n
they search the seas in quiet mode
\nAll that air and grace
\nYou can feel their fortune
\nIts crucial to their Survival
\nAnd their extra pace<\/p>\n
They plunge the depths for rays and skates
\nThey hit the shallows too
\nThey run the narwhal towards the coasts
\nThis is what they do
\nThey are social hunters
\nThey got the rule book and they
\nCan make up any strategy
\nAnd then just swim away<\/p>\n
And with all this sea ice melting
\nThe Orca is the king
\nThe polar bear is losing it
\nNo longer does he sing
\nThe blues or even opera
\nNow that the Orca’s are here
\nReady to eat the orchestra
\nAny that come here<\/p>\n
Through the great kelp gardens
\nThe greenest sway around
\n2000 miles they cometh in 8 weeks
\nAnd they abound
\nthe dominator shrieking
\nBlowing over you
\nMixing with the rapid light
\nAnd diadems so true<\/p>\n
Atlantic Cod is there by the grace of
\nGod
\nFor all to share<\/p>\n
You can just hear those captive orca’s
\nIn sea worlds tanks abroad
\nIn the shallowest water that no one can afford
\nFed on buckets of dead fish
\nFrozen still and bad
\nBeing thrown at those in chains
\nWith rake marks which are sad<\/p>\n
And now we hear that Tilikum is not to be let out
\nHe will die in the soup ponds
\nAnd thats without a doubt
\nA sacrifice they have made him
\nMorgan and Lolita too
\nOne day the name of Sea World
\nWill echo good and true<\/p>\n
Across the world of captives
\nWhere blubber hangs and floats
\nWhere tumultuous waves come hither
\nMaking up the notes
\nAs they swim under the radar
\nAs they click and bumble on
\nLooking for another Dawn
\nTo break into upon<\/p>\n
The times they are a changing
\nWeather patterns too
\nThe chem trails they are fucking up
\nThe ocean currents do
\nTear into the ports ahead
\nAnd burst the great kelp strands
\nThe arctic seas are warming
\nWatch the orca’s and their plans<\/p>\n
And do not catch another
\nNor give it a human name
\nSea world and joe Manby
\nYou stick to your game
\nIs true times have been changing
\nThe wild one’s challenge you
\nNever swim where there are Orca’s
\nFor they have their eyes on YOU<\/p>\n
And all their precious victims
\nNow labouring in your tanks
\nStill creaming off some profits
\nSatisfying banks
\nThey are seen as sentinels
\nTill the time they turn on you
