How can a mother kill a baby
\nHow can a mother who knows
\nHow can she wait in the forest
\nIn her camouflage gear and just pose<\/p>\n
With a bow on her back
\nAnd an arrow
\nTo shoot through the heart of a soul
\nTo threaten its destiny, its inescapable
\nWith The twang of her bow she will control<\/p>\n
She has carried an infant for many long months
\nFelt all its life force from inside
\nShe has shared all that love
\nSo she knows how it feels
\nIt seemed to be a place to hide<\/p>\n
But now in the forest her eye firmly aimed
\nAt somebody else’s sweet child
\nA deer in a thicket and she’s got its ticket
\nThe only difference here is its wild
\nWith the power of almightiness waiting
\nReceptive and ready to run
\nA parent she has been a parent
\nAnd so when its all said and done<\/p>\n
Now she is out in the forest
\nHer feminine instincts she feels
\nHer bow on her back
\nCan she attack
\nHer heart beating fast she reveals
\nHer arrow lets fly
\nAnd just one little cry
\nAnd it wings away into the dawn
\nAnd smacks through the skin and the muscle
\nAnd The blood of a dear little fawn<\/p>\n
The mother is somewhere close, watching
\nThe loss of her baby for she
\nWanted so much that the arrow hit her
\nBut of course sadly we all could see
\nIt hit her baby who let out a cry
\nThe first of its life as it knelt down to die<\/p>\n
The mother beside herself couldn’t believe
\nThat a female could aim to shoot to achieve
\nThat really two mothers both knew the score
\nOne lost her child and did ignore
\nThe loss of a child which did seem to me
\nTo be so hard to do and I just couldn’t see
\nThe point of this killing
\nIt just wasn’t right
\nThat a mother would shoot down a baby in flight<\/p>\n
For what just to do it that arrogant streak
\nBut was it even arrogance it just did wreak
\nHavoc with my emotions that day
\nHow a mother could do this such a hard way
\nKitted up to the eyes with aggression and fear
\nA mother whose way was lost it was clear
\nThe lot of the hunter so called is one
\nOf murdering animals and just for fun<\/p>\n
To me it is sadness for children today
\nTo take life and honestly throw it away
\nWithout due respect for the wildness of all
\nAnd go back to their own child and collect them from school<\/p>\n
The day in the life of a mum who we see
\nGunned down a young Deer who wanted to be
\nWith its mum in the forest to learn and to know
\nWhat life was about and hoped that she’d show<\/p>\n
But death with his sickle came by as we saw
\nA baby fall down his heart at death’s door
\nTo see female hunters assassinate souls
\nDrives me over the edge and away from my goals
\nIt is my belief that this deterioration
\nOf the female species shows just no salvation
\nThe beauty of life cut down in a way
\nBy a mother who knows of another’s dismay<\/p>\n
We are clearly passed our sell by dates
