\nTranscending all of nature
\nSuch a temperament we see
\nWith every changing circumstance
\nEach opportunity
\nShe takes and makes her way in life

She’s remarkable and amazing
\nThough her life is very short
\nShe is delicate and special
\nGiven a lot of thought
\nShe has a lot of enemies
\nBut despite them carries on
\nWith her task of finding pollen
\nWhen much of it is gone<\/p>\n
She’s tasked with finding lots of it
\nFrom blossoms everywhere
\nSteadfastly she flies about
\nAnd, she is aware
\nOf The pesticides and herbicides
\nThat makes her feel forlorn
\nWhether to go back with her bounty
\nAnd infect the hive, she’s sworn
\nOf course to bring the pollen
\nSo the magic spells can be
\nWorked on in the haven of the wise
\nEssentially<\/p>\n
Man is most unkind to her
\nHe doesn’t help at all
\nHe comes to steal her bounty
\nAnd to overhaul
\nHer magic and her prowess
\nAnd all he leaves behind
\nAre bowls of refined sugar
\nFor all of them to find<\/p>\n
Aerodynamically she is not perfect
\nFor flying really she
\nHas a heavy body
\nAnd tiny wings
\nHer qi
\nIs she has so much energy
\nShe is on a high
\nHer wings spin till they hum out loud
\nAs she passes by<\/p>\n
And little baskets on her feet
\nTo collect the pollen there
\nAs she flies in to the hive sometimes
\nBrushes left, I swear
\nCan brush their tiny legs off
\nWith the pollen so to say
\nIt does cost her an arm and a leg
\nWhich is a lot to pay<\/p>\n
Man is after the pollen he sells that as well
\nSo all that work she puts in
\nMan unkind from hell
\nIs there to steal yet more of what she has
\nAnd does and she
\nIs clearly now exhausted
\nshe’s a very frustrated Bee<\/p>\n
Man then collects her honey
\nAnd leaves her little more
\nThan a taster what a waster
\nSo He steals more from the store
\nHoney is a bee food
\nIts never ours to take
\nBut now we farm them commercially
\nWe sweeten the cake
\nWe heat up in the oven
\nWhich degrades the honey and
\nAll the magic that they use
\nHow can they understand<\/p>\n
Honey is not for heating
\nHeat degrades it fast
\nHoney will last for 100 years
\nOr more are you aghast?
\nIt is an organic substance
\nAs pure as pure can be
\nIts properties are amazing
\nWhen consumed by the bee<\/p>\n
Of course the bees immunity
\nIs to be shot away
\nBy rewarding them with sugar
\nWhy do we make them pay
\nA price for all that effort
\nIt weakens them so much
\nAnd what with all our chemicals
\nAnd EMF we touch
\nTheir very souls and knowingly
\nDestroy them from within
\nWhen you buy a jar of honey
\nIn the market its a sin<\/p>\n
We are signing their death warrant
\nEvery single day
\nEven the bee keepers steal
\ntoo much and run away
\nBees won’t forage in the rain
\nSo when we deplete their store
\nWe really and truly rub it in
\nAnd they feel that more and more<\/p>\n
Sadly we have lost it
\nLost our power to be
\nCompassionate about our friends
\nWho slave now constantly
\nImagine how this frustrates
\nI think of her when I
\nSee rows and rows of honey
\nOn the shelves
\nAnd I know why<\/p>\n
The bees are really starved of it
\nTheir miracle becomes
\nA sweetener for most of us
\nThe ones doing their sums
\nMaking lots of profit
\nSelling the degraded kind
\nWhich is also fooling the public
\nHave we really lost our mind<\/p>\n
We torture and kill our best friend
\nJust so we can make more dough
\nWhen they die out we shall die out
\nThat I am afraid is so
\nAnd we can blame the corporates
\nWho have entered into the ring
\nCommercially making a killing
