Poor Mufasa his life was the circus
\nThats all his blue eyes could see
\nHe lived in the back of a dusty old truck
\nWith equipment he was never free
\nOf the so called amusement of others
\nTheir jollification me thinks
\nA chain around his neck for all of those years
\nNo thrills and never high jinks<\/p>\n
He was lean but his fur was quite wretched
\nNo live food and little to see
\nHis exercise levels were lamentable
\nFor I am sure that he wished he was free
\nTo pad through the forest to smell all those smells
\nTo catch his own foods and to enter long spells
\nOf learning and knowledge,or forestry ways
\nAnd just the whole atmosphere for all his days<\/p>\n
But he was alone and left really he
\nWas neglected a lot but his dream to be free
\nMust have kept him going that one day he might
\nRun through the forest again day and night
\nThen ADI last year they came
\nAs Peru
\npassed new laws banning animals who
\nWere locked in the circus and made to be
\nPerforming Which nobody wanted to see<\/p>\n
Back to the forest back home he went
\nNot in good condition his body was spent
\nBut it must have felt lovely to walk on the ground
\nTo smell all the smells and hear the birds all around
\nTo get back to Nature and feel life again
\nHis kidneys were weak and he was in some pain
\nBut he managed to hang on for four months or so
\nMaking the most of the fact and did Show<\/p>\n
A lot of promise learning again
\nUnder the sky out in the rain
\nSoaking the sun up and seeing the moon
\nAnd being back home and really in tune
\nSadly though all of that sad circus past
\nWeakened him so, he began ailing fast
\n4 months of freedom to once again see
\nAnd feel and immerse himself it was his key
\nTo the next life, imagine that,far far away
