With scant regard for life
\nA dog is hung up in a park
\nBeside a busy roadway
\nA blow lamp lit
\nA mark
\nof irreverence and insult
\nAn affront to all aware
\nFor animals, these monsters
\nIn CHINA do not care<\/p>\n
They talk up the adrenaline
\nAnd fear,as the victim feels
\nAs its cries enter our psyche
\nAs its sorrow it reveals
\nThe awelessness and supreme disdain
\nThe unworthiness of man
\nDespicable in every way
\nThem and all their clan<\/p>\n
Conscience they don’t have one
\nThey cannot have one, they
\nAre so devious and complicit
\nTo the horrors of the day
\nSetting out to torture
\nAnd make it last a while
\nIn the hope that it improves
\nThe flavour, how can they reconcile?<\/p>\n
Sadism with its agony its woeful
\nFrightening end
\nBurned to death
\nIts stolen breath
\nANUBIS must defend
\nAnd will do it in broad daylight
\nWhen they are taken out
\nThey will see
\nPerhaps a fatal car crash
\nOr be crushed internally
\nAnd if they go to anywhere
\nLet it be to purgatory<\/p>\n
The animal was lamenting
\nAt the improbity of men
\nSuch nefarious behaviour
\nWhen I began to pen
\nThere were passers by in taxi’s
\nWalking too and fro
\nI believe a child was watching
\nSo horrible I know!<\/p>\n
I. Do not make excuses
\nFor the horror now on show
\nYOU Think about what you eat
\nAnd how it died and know
\nBehind closed doors in slaughterhouses
\nAnimals suffer so
\nNo living soul wants to meet death
\nOr go out with a glow<\/p>\n
Of petrol fumes no animals
\nNo miracle of life
\nNo sentient soul
\nShould ever be
\nSubjected to such strife
\nThen to imagine it is eaten
\nSquabbled over by
\nThese blackguards
\nThese confounded monsters
\nWho have, no idea why<\/p>\n
I call them this I hate their guts
\nTheir deep improbity
\nOn an animal so innocent
\nWhose joy with us could be
\nSo graceful playing in the park
\nRather than burned to death
\nFighting sinfulness and injustice
