The energy is building
\nFolks from here and there
\nAre getting posters and their costumes ready
\nAnd proving how much they care
\nPrides of Lions will congregate
\nIn London’S Cavendish Square
\nTo march all the way to Downing Street

And, upon arrival,still
\nThe air the London traffic
\nAnd roar for Lions who may
\nHear us out in AFRICA
\nAll those miles away<\/p>\n
Telling those with ears to listen
\nLions are KINGS they are
\nNot TARGETS for rich hunters
\nWho travel from afar<\/p>\n
Who in fact pay a bounty
\nTo traitors to the cause
\nWho consume wild life like crazy
\nAnd now there is no pause<\/p>\n
With extinction in the offing
\nAnd blood soaking the ground
\nWe come now as an army
\nNever to be drowned<\/p>\n
Out the sounds of people
\nWho know the reasons why
\nlions and all the creatures
\nNeed a place to lie<\/p>\n
Safely in the wild fields
\nNot kept in cages till
\nMr hunter comes along

Really anyone of us
\nDepending on his purse
\nThe biggest noblest male of all
\nits the rich mans curse<\/p>\n
Spreading across Africa
\nBodies everywhere
\nOur bones go off to Thailand

\nBetter another dead lion

There to gather up the dust
