A deep dark sky
\nAn April eve
\nA silhouette
\nDoth still achieve
\nA resplendent shadow
\nA glimpse of night
\nWhat was red this morning
\nHas a blackened flight
\nAnd slowly its fading into the night<\/p>\n
A scatter of leaves
\nThat toss and turn
\nWhat disappears first
\nHard to discern
\nThe nature of the silhouette
\nEnveloped in the sky and set<\/p>\n
To disappear for evermore
\nNearly 9 and somehow its gone
\nDrenched in darkness
\nFrom now on<\/p>\n
I know its there
\nAnd even if I try
\nI cannot see it
\nThat is no lie
\nThat beautiful tree
\nHas just slipped away
\nLets hope it returns
