The rustle of copper
\nMy Queen is awake
\nA beech in the shadows
\nShe’s never a fake
\nAgainst the blue backdrop
\nSerenely she stands
\nWith branches that glisten
\nAnd great waving fans<\/p>\n
Out of the sod
\nShe rose to acclaim
\nFire in her belly
\nThe wind she could tame
\nHer great trunk supreme
\nAnd her ivy trails too
\nShe is guarding my soul urge
\nWhatever I do<\/p>\n
Classically trained
\nTo dance in the breeze
\nEvery nuance is beautiful
\nMy eyes she does please
\nShe shades us from sun
\nAnd allows plants to grow
\nWith the bluebells a ringing
\nAhead of the snow<\/p>\n
Yes it is April
\nwhere frosts still abound
\nHer gown vibrant copper
\nThats what I have found
\nPigeons like to sit on her
\nTrestles of green
\nWith their white ermine collars
\nAnd bodies less than lean<\/p>\n
As evening approaches
\nHer leaves darken so
\nHer ebony ball gown
\nHow it does flow
\nPlaying with light
\nSearching for the moon
\nMy beautiful Queen
