Every single creature
\nHas its place in life
\nAn integral recognition
\nA presence and the strife
\nThat we cause to these beings
\nTheir potentiality
\nTheir positive contribution
\nAnd their essence actually<\/p>\n
They have a genuine standing
\nThey are grounded and are sound
\nEnduring such a value
\nAnd many do abound
\nOur eyes may miss their beauty
\nTheir emblem is their worth
\nHarbingers of destruction
\nOften seen upon the earth<\/p>\n
Their place is clearly needed
\nOut on the wild plain
\nWhere death can come to many
\nAnd where disease can be a bane
\nUpon our real existence
\nThe dustbin men they be
\nTheir outwardness is special
\nIts there place to be<\/p>\n
Often clearing up the spoils
\nOf hunters who shoot high
\nFor them its the adrenaline rush
\nThe fact that live souls die
\nAnd fall somewhere to perish
\nTo die in torturous pain
\nHe has fired his lead balls
\nEverywhere
\nWith his violence and disdain<\/p>\n
And the vultures come to clear up
\nAnd the lead balls and the dust
\nTurned into many fragments
\nWhich fills me with disgust
\nThey are not just violent murderers
\nBut selfish through and though
\nAnd actually bloody arrogant
\nAnd tight fisted too<\/p>\n
Using lead a toxic metal
\nThat burst into a dust
\nAnd leaves its latent terror
\nDespite the evil thrust
\nThe lasting toxic death threats
\nTo anyone around
\nWithin the victims body
\nAnd scattered on the ground<\/p>\n
Its the thoughtless heartless
\nMonsters
\nThat have eyes but fail to see
\nThey have their powerful shot guns
\nLicensed to kill they be
\nBut visionaries never
\nThey are thick as thick for they
\nAre killing many collaterally
\nEvery single day<\/p>\n
And long after the victim falls
\nIt rots maybe and leaves
\nLead polluting river streams
\nAnd really who achieves
\nPoisoning its killing the countryside
\nAround
\nAnd its because the toffs go shooting
\nThat few now make a sound<\/p>\n
The Royals and all the hangers on
\nThe pheasants and the game
\nThe partridges the good old grouse
\nYes the very same
\nThe shooters killing pigeons
\nRidding our countryside
\nOf wild birds and delivering
\nTheir toxins though denied<\/p>\n
There is tungsten and steel bullets
\nBut they cost a pint of beer
\nMore and so they go around
\nAnd use the lead the fear
\nIs not there’s they just go somewhere
\nWhere possibly children play
\nAnd shoot their vile lead pellets
\nAnd forget where they may lay<\/p>\n
Hunters so called murdering scum
\nAre polluters and heartless fools
\nIf you live in the countryside
\nYou hear them and it appals
\nAnd out there in the wilderness too
\nVultures the precious boys
\nAre being poisoned all the time
\nTheir haggle and their noise<\/p>\n
Is missing around the carrion
\nThe undertakers who
\nWaste nothing they eat maggots
\nAnd diseases through and through
\nTheir gut acid so powerful
\nBut lead shot does them in
\nAnd its not just vultures
\nIts swans and ducks and life
\nWe cannot win<\/p>\n
The argument in Britain because the toffs
\nHunt game
\nThe rich and the powerful lawmakers
\nAnd the government by name
\nWhether its in the Cotswolds
\nOf in Hertfordshire we hear
\nThe shot guns working overtime
\nAt this time of the year<\/p>\n
And in Africa and India
\nAnd places far away
\nOf course its happening everywhere
\nBut we all should have a say
\nWhere we walk our dogs and our children play
\nOn bridle paths we hear
\nThese would be James bond look alike’s
\nSpreading lead and fear<\/p>\n
Every created soul has its place
\nAnd, taking them out
\nIs arrogance and ignorance
\nAnd selfishness the doubt
\nComing from the rich its true
\nContempt for Natural law
\nThat most of them don’t care about
