A gentle and kind soul
\nIs a neighbour of mine
\nShe has just had a baby
\nAnd that all went fine
\nBut I hadn’t seen her
\nFor a short time
\nSo I asked her mother
\nAnd so this short rhyme<\/p>\n
Is because her mum told me
\nThat Helen had been
\nUnder the weather
\nI suppose the routine
\nOf baby can lower your tendency to
\nHave some “me”time
\nI am sure that was true<\/p>\n
And being unwell with it
\nThat isn’t good
\nThe years moving on fast
\ni suppose if she could
\nGet out and about
\nIt would be better to try
\nBut with baby and all
\nThe work factors high<\/p>\n
So her mum had arrived
\nWith some goodies but she
\nOught to think and rehydrate
\nHerself actually
\ncut down the sugary foods
\nFor a while
\nAnd get some fresh air
\nJust to reconcile<\/p>\n
Being home
\nWith the blossoms
\nThe warm flush of Spring
\nThe flowers and the bluer skies
\nStarting to bring<\/p>\n
Some extra colour some vibrance
\nAnd more
\nInto our lives
\nSays the bloke from next door<\/p>\n
