On the cavernous scars
\nI now may sit
\nOnce many toiled through
\nWood as hard
\nBut now long dead
\nThey are no more
\nMy chair though is entirely
\nScarred
\nEach worm that struggled
\nPushing through
\nThe hardwood
\nAnd not just a few
\nFighting hard tunnels
\nTo Clear
\nAnd not even dust now does appear<\/p>\n
The worms have turned
\nBut they were once there
\nMaking holes in my
\nBest chair
\nChewing and sucking the heartwood dry
\nAnd leave this world
\nTo go and die<\/p>\n
