Indonesia’s holiday place
\nA paradise of the human race
\n12 souls have died of Rabies this year
\nBitten by canines it would appear
\nAnd so in Klungkung they took hold
\nThousands of dogs so we are told
\nPedigree animals bred to be
\nHuman companions actually<\/p>\n
They came in holders and boxes
\nAnd they were photographed
\nAnd stroked some say
\nA happy event people smiled
\nSomehow they were able and just
\nReconciled<\/p>\n
Murdering animals one by one
\nHearing their screams under the sun
\nSeeing them stagger kick and dance
\nNo one given a second chance
\nHealthy vibrant soulful souls
\nStabbed with the needle
\nTheir eyes their roles
\nOn earth were ended
\nBy chemical means
\nEverywhere the bloodied scenes<\/p>\n
The fear contained in the victims eyes
\nThe screams and clamour they realise
\nTheir end is near
\nSome ejaculate
\nSome piss like mad
\nKnowing their fate<\/p>\n
A cacophony of hatred shrill
\nGruff and throaty gasps then still
\nThe absurdity of slaughter here
\nThe insanity is very clear
\nHeaps of bodies in final stages
\nOf shifting and shaking and final rages
\nTheir expectation for life anew
\nWas replaced by death all though<\/p>\n
Sentient beings murdered by
\nLethal injection did they know why
\nThe spasm the pathos the evil crew
\nInjecting these babies and seeing it through
\nIrritability outbursts of pain
\nDelirium happens again and again
\nUnquiet we tremble
\nSeething a while
\nTense and electric
\nOff of the dial<\/p>\n
A lot of suffering
\nEmotionally
\nThey are aware
\nOf how it will be
\nThe shaking the breaking the taking
\nOf life
\nThe screaming its awful
\nIts full on its strife<\/p>\n
Bali a holiday place in the sun
\nGreat big hotels
\nYes all that fun
\nThe beaches the water sports
\nIt is all there
\nBut they do have rabies
\nAnd don’t want to share<\/p>\n
That information around so they feel
\nKill all the dogs
\nAnd try to conceal
\nThe unease the discomfort
\nEach wretch that must die
\nSniff the air be aware
\nAnd look up at the sky<\/p>\n
These were not strays
\nThey were loved they had homes
\nClearly looked after
\nHand written tomes
\nOf love and affection
\nThe whole canine troop
\nNow being murdered
\nIn one foul swoop<\/p>\n
Heart burning
\nStomach churning
\nRemorseful stuff
\nNot apologetic
\nAnd pathetic
\nI have seen enough<\/p>\n
Such lamentation
\nEach whimper each whine
\nEach grizzle each blubber
\nEach groan becomes mine
\nIts a hideous pastime
\nIts shocking to see
\nEach knows whats happening
\nAdversity
\nMisgotten and ghastly
\nIn so many ways
\nBALI is no place
\nFor me to spend days<\/p>\n
I now will boycott
\nThis place on this earth
\nWho laugh at the thought
\nOf providing the worth
\nTo BALI the tourists
\nAnd rabies as well
\nThis is not Paradise folks
