The gentry and the loaded

\nThe royals and those who know them
\nThe nobility who pass
\nas lords and their ladies
\nThey can look down on us all
\nThe working class the bourgeois
\nThe rustic folk that tend to be
\nUnlike the squires and countrymen
\nWho own a gun and use it when
\nThe season rolls around each year
\nTheir desire to shoot brings them their cheer<\/p>\n
100,000 birds a day shot out of the skies
\nTo rot away
\nIn the death pits
\nWhere wounded souls
\nAre lost to the world
\nBut are one of the goals
\nOf the shooting class
\nOf the upper set
\nAnd the wild ones suffer
\nAnd you bet
\nthe cats and dogs and hen harriers too
\nSlaughtered so the game can fly and woo<\/p>\n
The nobility the rich who come
\nThe Pheasants the Partridges the Grouse
\nAnd some
\nothers
\nFactory farmed are they
\nAnd shot to death
\nWith the lead shot spray<\/p>\n
Burning grouse moors pollution and more
\nLead shot goes everywhere and whats more
\nSuch indifference and clueless too
\nThe pain and suffering which all through
\nSuggests to me these loveless fools
\nAre not prepared to live by the rules
\nThey glory in death and think nothing of pain
\nBlue blooded nobleman the upper strain
\nThe knights and the rich and the made it and more
\nHunt and shoot and of course ignore<\/p>\n
The countryside and the brethren there
\nThe haughty the lofty the snobs who bare
\nTheir arrogant status to one and all
\nThe brash and the bumptious who as a rule
\nThrow their money around the place
\nIts something the rest of us have to face
\nThe aristocracy the upper class
\nThe so called genteel the elite that pass
\nExcellent breeding stately they think
\nDistinguished and dignified cultured

\nWoodcock and deer
\nHare fox and Rabbit
\nIf they appear<\/p>\n
Bang goes the gun
\nThe sport of the kings
\nWhich sets them apart from the

Thats us those who care about animal rights
\nWho wince when they see the wild ones whose flights
\nAre cut down by guns fired off of the ground
\nThe lead shot goes everywhere that what i ‘ve found
\nSo they care not a bit and deny everything
\nChase the fox with the hounds
\nOut there they are king<\/p>\n
Terrier men with their spades
\nAll will die
\nTally ho off we go
\nWith no word of a lie<\/p>\n
The wild Hen Harriers are almost all gone
\nThe gamekeepers see to them
\nOut there upon
\nThe wilds paid to do this
\nAnd of course they do
\nFor the hunters and shooters
\nAnd hostelry too<\/p>\n
They scratch each other backs
\nThats how it goes
\nThe victims are all of us
\nUnder our nose
\nWe live on the outskirts
\nAnd suffer the pain
\nBut are speechless to comment

Millions are wounded
\nThey die all alone
\nIn so much agony
\nLowering the tone
\nIts all about game
\nAbout shooting a brace
\nBut its not for the pot

Its out there we dwellers

Wanting mire business
