\nWhat has unfolded
\nTerribly
\nUS dolphins in
\nCaptivity<\/p>\n
Their freedom vanished
\nAt a stroke
\nTheir families lost
\nEverything broke
\nAround them
\nTheir whole family tree
\nTorn down
\nFor eternity<\/p>\n
In all we hear
\n3000 souls
\nAre in the hands
\nNow of the trolls
\nTheir suffering
\nCut to the quick
\nAnd observing it
\nJust makes me sick<\/p>\n
The trauma and paralysis
\nDisturbs them so
\nVague and vacant
\nAs we know
\nThese are intelligent
\nMammals who
\nAre worthy of so much more
\nTo do<\/p>\n
Kept in really tiny pools
\nChlorinated by the ghouls
\nIts entertainment lets all swim
\nWith dolphins right up to the brim
\nOf life lets take them for a ride
\nWho cares really if one died
\nThey pay the price and exact a lot
\nAnd happy the dolphins just are not<\/p>\n
Trapped and fighting
\nPropelled away
\nThey are just novelties
\nEvery day
\nSoaked in human sweat and grease
\nAll they want is to gain their release
\nBut all they know is the sweaty smell
\nOf drunken oafs straight out of Hell<\/p>\n
No identity no none at all
\nThey can chew the bars and butt the wall
\nIt drives you crazy to just be here
\nCamouflaged by the constant fear
\nNo reparation just a prison cell
\nAnd frozen herring phew that smell
\nAntibiotics to wash it through
\nAnd a big dose of that prozac too<\/p>\n
We are the clowns in the circus ring
\nDisrespected of everything
\nOur disunion with all we know
\nMade worse by being in the flow
\nWe have no bond with the Mexican lot
\nFrom their point of view
\nWe can just rot
\nStop sharing air just fade away
\nThey wouldn’t care
\nSo many say<\/p>\n
It takes advantage time for them
\nThey are deranged there is not a gem
\nOf sparkle in our boring lives
\nCaptivity though it just thrives
\nSo much ignorance of our scene
\nImagining we are a machine
\nFish like but just here to serve
\nThese Mexicans have got a nerve<\/p>\n
The repetitiveness it does us in
\nThe cumulativeness its one big sin
\nA chain reaction progressing to
\nA sort of pageant All they do
\nNon stop randomness every day
\nUs dolphins really have to pay
\nOur lives are shortened by all of this
\nWhich is truthfully so far from bliss<\/p>\n
Conforming to the status quo
\nThose drilling crowds the private show
\nThe drunken idiots fully dressed
\nJump in with us and make us stressed
\nWe suffer so much yes we do
\nOur skin gets cracked and very few
\nAre helped here its all suffer and more
