\nallowing Corporations

\nthe indigenous people
\nwho love the land
\nand have visions
\nand controls<\/p>\n
they care and have cared
\nfor centuries
\nthey live where they were born
\nthey don’t march in with
\npowerful saws and axes
\nand much scorn
\nnor cut down vibrant forests
\nto make locations tense
\nto burn and release carbon
\nwhich proves they have no sense
\nThese are The Forest People
\nthey know each inch and can
\nlook after it,and nurture it
\nwhich they’ve done since
\ntime began
\nto flood this precious
\noxygenation reservoir of life
\nand bow down to the
\ncorporates
\nand their continued strife
\nwas clearly wrong
\nand needed, to, just be reversed
\nand thank God it does
\nauger well for
\nDemocracy seemed cursed<\/p>\n
The Corporates were at it
\ndestroy the lot the call
\nThe Government was powerless
\ntheir backs against the wall
\nsupported by the Banksters
\nwho move the figures here

\nand say sod off to us
\nand why should that lot care

\nwith offshore havens, they
\nare ripping off the planet
\nand are all getting their way
\nThe courts have said
\nthis Monte Belo Dam
\nis wrong and cannot
\nbe allowed to happen
\na decision I like a lot
\nbut we must not ever let up
\nfor they have a lot of strength
\nand corruption spreads its fingers
\nfar and wide to a great length
\nbeyond what the indigenous
\ncan ever hope to do
\nUnless the people have chance
\nThe planets doomed
\nthat view

\nwho witness and who see

\npumped up with power
