There is a greyness about the sky today
\nA sleety tear or two
\nA great big bumble comes to drink
\nThe Rosemary, a few
\nAccompany him their swirling wings
\nBuzzing through each day
\nTasting the yellow of April
\nWith their gentle sway<\/p>\n
Day and night are much the same
\nTis when the jasmine rests
\nTied up in a woody state
\nJack frost out there tests
\nThe true resolve of wanderers
\nThat come to the see the sun
\nFighting through the clouds
\nTo shine before the day is done<\/p>\n
Grape hyacinths and the crocus
\nHordes, test their colour schemes
\nThe early buds are moving slowly
\nAs are peoples dreams
\nA stillness operates across
\nThe fields into today
\nThe ROLL RIGHT stones now watch
\nThe moles surface and do play<\/p>\n
Unwinding are the stories
\nOf faery folk who dance
\nPulsating and the drumming
\nEach throb of certain chance
\nThe trees with dormant ivy
\nClasp each other so
\nThe ritual of the moment
\nThat the Cotswold group bestow<\/p>\n
Come hither gentle friends
\nCome join our vital ring
\nThe circle and the portals
\nCertainly do bring
\nAll of us together
\nThe warmth it does transpose
\nTo hold the hand of a lady friend
\nAnd appreciate she grows<\/p>\n
Ever close beside you
\nHer heart beats as does yours
\nTo look into her windswept eyes
\nAnd understand the cause
\nOf why you need her close to you
\nOf why she is your queen
\nOf how you will so miss her
\nThat she couldn’t have been<\/p>\n
With you this afternoon
