\nThe sociability
\nEach an illumination
\nIn the ocean of the free
\nLike lightening they bewitch us
\nLuminaries who
\nRun the azure gambit
\nLike all their buddies do<\/p>\n
Jostling with each other
\nEach has their beguiling smile
\nImpressions of the intellect
\nAnd transparent all the while
\nSea world talks up education
\nIts how we come to know
\nWe mark our appreciation card
\nAnd just stay in the flow<\/p>\n
Its insidious behaviour
\nCaptivity is wrong
\nIts lifeless and its dingy
\nIts where none of them belong
\nReally its just torture
\nAnd getting them to perform
\nCash cows in reality
\nThe peace before the storm<\/p>\n
Sea world underestimated
\nWhat they did to make
\nThese curiously intelligent mammals
\nInto well a fake
\nWe took away their social life
\nTheir mothers and the rest
\nMade them feel just solitary
\nAs if they had left their nest<\/p>\n
But came back on their own in fact
\nConscious and unaware
\nReally very intelligent
\nBut to them we were not fair
\nWe took advantage of them
\nWe called them all sorts of names
\nThe matriarchs were shunned in fact

Much went on in the aftermath

\nSelection of the few
\nAlong the bloody trails
\nTrucked to Tokyo
\nFlown to Hong Kong
\nDubai and Amsterdam
\nAvoiding Canadian airspace

The social interaction

\nCompared to bath tub
\nLoneliness and of course to slavery
\nTook years off captive
\nCetaceans years and years and years
\nCreating the disruption
\nAnd the years of tears<\/p>\n
Death among the trainers
\nAnd injuries as well
\nSadness and these tragedies
\nIn the man made hell
\nOf consequence and disaster
\nThe ticking time bombs where
\nThe broken and dismembered
\nWere scattered everywhere<\/p>\n
Captivity is alien
\nIts a calculated sphere
\nSo much unreported
\nThe victims though were clear
\nAbnormal aggression
\nMental health and more
\nThese dosed up cetaceans
\nPerhaps they could explore
\nThe awareness of why many
\nSaw their lives frittered away
