\nPod members on hand
\nThe midwife at the ready
\nA truly healing band
\n12 months in gestation
\nThe denominator here
\nWhen the mothers ready
\nThe baby will appear

\nWith birthing juices too
\nOf interest to the predators
\nA kind of living stew
\nSome dolphins will be on guard
\nTo fight off those who might
\nCome to indulge their fantasy
\nBut just may get a bite
\nIn minutes a sweet baby
\nWill be swimming on its own
\nInstinctively it knows its course
\nAs ancestry as sown
\nAll the vital knowledge
\nSo the calf is on its way
\nSwimming with its mother
\nOn its first birthday<\/p>\n
At Taiji we remember
\nThe Japanese have caught
\nDolphins that were pregnant
\nAnd they killed them just for sport
\nOne wonders why man kind is quite so
\nAwful and we see
\nThe mother pithed and the baby
\njust thrown back in the sea<\/p>\n
they are a bunch of evil hearted sods
\nI have to say
\nNo compassion for a mother
\nAnd her child
\nThe way
\nThey are to the natural world
\nAs arrogant as can be
\nLost in a world of ignorance
\nWhere only they should be<\/p>\n
The dolphins are intelligent
\nWith emotions ever strong
\nThey have helped humans giving birth
\nThough some might think thats wrong
\nBut clearly they are knowledgeable
\nAnd are experienced for they
\nHave to start lives on their own
