Living with pain
\nis living with strain
\nday after day
\nagain and again<\/p>\n
hopeful of some
\nhelp
\nbut nothing to hand
\nnobody, no where
\ncan understand<\/p>\n
my chest is on fire
\nmy groin is so bad
\nmy shoulders
\nMy hands
\nMy feet
\nI’m so sad<\/p>\n
that I have to go
\nthrough this
\nso little that I
\ncan do just to get up
\nI have to ask why?<\/p>\n
if someone could
\nhold me
\njust for a while
\nI know I am old
\nto just reconcile<\/p>\n
why this is happening
\nwhy? its not fair
\nI feel so alone
\nand I am
\nso aware<\/p>\n
I can’t carry on
\nit all seems in vain
\nany slight movement
\nsends shivery pain
\nall over my body
\nagain and again<\/p>\n
there must be another way
\nthere has to be
\nI must write my blog
\nmore and more
\neach day
\nwhen immersed in my
\nmuse
\nI suppose I’m okay<\/p>\n
I may not have long left
\nI’m beginning to feel
\nthe pain has got worse
\nand its hard to conceal<\/p>\n
but I will not take drugs
\nno I won’t, I will try
\nand get through it all
\nuntil I lay down and die<\/p>\n
alone with my tears
\nalone with my pain
\nI have to stay put
\nwhatever the strain<\/p>\n
the animals need me
\nagain and again
\nthe seals and the dolphins
\nthe whales and the Roo’s
\nI am their only hope
