\nLife in an ocean where grief
\nComes to the unsuspecting
\nHanging off of a reef
\nA whale a great body
\nCan tangle and be
\nTrapped in the nylon
\nOf monotony
\nOil based extrusions
\nThat cripple and tear
\nThat knot up delivering
\nSpacial despair<\/p>\n
One whale so exhausted
\nFrom trying to free
\nThese long clinging strands
\nOf unconformity
\nWas just about hanging in their
\nJust afloat
\nSwam in a circle close to a boat<\/p>\n
The humans had a knife
\nAnd three strong hearts and minds
\nThey had a strong empathy
\nThat sometimes kind of finds
\nIts way into good reasoning
\nHow they just could try
\nWas to cut off the nylon
\nSo perhaps he could fly<\/p>\n
They chopped and they pulled
\nAnd they cleared as they feared
\nThey tugged and they lugged
\nFeeling more and more cheered
\nThe great beast was quiet
\nJust strong blasts of air
\nFountains and rainbows
\nAnd being aware<\/p>\n
3 men 6 hands 3o fingers and thumbs
\nTaut muscles and tears
\nWhich just about sums
\nUp the intent for that was to free
\nThe unfortunate whale
\nTrapped by nets in the sea<\/p>\n
They had cohesion
\nAnd were tenaciously strong
\nThis great incarnation
\nTo perish was wrong
\nJettisoned nylon ugly string
\nAnd the littering menace
\nWhich it did bring<\/p>\n
For over an hour
\nThey laboured and they
\nAssembled their courage
\nTo continue the way
\nWas open despite the great beast
\nBy their side
\nThey now couldn’t let him
\nBe so denied<\/p>\n
A final cut and the great soul was free
\nImagine from darkness
\nThis great luminary
\nIts pathos its heartiness
\nAnd complete joy
\nAs a sentient being
\nHow could it employ<\/p>\n
Itself to the task
\nOf rewarding those who
\nHad saved it from death
\nWho did what they did do
\nWith the fervour and passion
\nAnd effusive heart
\nIt would leap it would sweep
\nIt would try to impart
\nIts joy now at being
\nFree to proclaim
\nTo share its great pleasure
\nWith its likely game<\/p>\n
Photos and video’s surfaced
\nAs we
\nWatch the true nature
\nAnd the great remedy
\nFor the true cessation
\nOf the hunting of whales
\nFor this wondrous soul
\nEvery death now it pales
