Clearly they were onto me

\nStuck there in the slower lane
\nWith cars driving so fast
\nI was really suffering
\nIn a lot of fear
\nOf course imagining the worst
\nThe tension here was clear<\/p>\n
My heart was really thumping
\nMy breath was running out
\nI was very close to breaking down
\nAnd thats without a doubt
\nAnd I know I was getting slower
\nMy paws bleeding a bit
\nAnd actually I had bit my tongue
\nSo was going through some shit<\/p>\n
I saw the flashing blue lights
\nAnd the sirens too I heard
\nA helicopter overhead
\nA great big metal bird
\nThen it felt inevitable
\nThat something had to go
\nI was trembling and quivering
\nAnd just not in the flow<\/p>\n
Then suddenly it all went black
\nAnd. I was drenched in pain
\nSomething big bashed into me
\nAnd blood began to drain
\nOut of me the agony was short
\nIn shock was I
\nAll i could see was blood and guts
\nAnd up into the sky<\/p>\n
Some cowardly shit had hit me
\nRun me down and flew
\nI remember I was kicking
\nTrying to get through
\nWhat was indeed an injury
\nA journey far away
