{"id":264,"date":"2011-11-23T22:49:15","date_gmt":"2011-11-23T22:49:15","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/cooksdelight.co.uk\/blog\/?p=264"},"modified":"2011-11-23T22:51:46","modified_gmt":"2011-11-23T22:51:46","slug":"shell-shock-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cooksdelight.co.uk\/blog\/2011\/11\/shell-shock-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Shell Shock 2"},"content":{"rendered":"<div align=\"center\">The miracle of life<br \/>\n<!--more-->Behold it, on one&#8217;s hand<br \/>\na shell<br \/>\nit cracks<br \/>\nand then it breaks<br \/>\nwe gasp we understandwe hear<br \/>\nrepeated tweets<br \/>\nand see<br \/>\na tiny form<br \/>\npink, a baby has emerged<br \/>\nto face our<br \/>\nviolent storm<\/p>\n<p>little could its tiny heart<br \/>\nimagine<br \/>\ninnocently it battles<br \/>\nwith its shell<br \/>\nbravely kicks<br \/>\nand then enters the infinite<br \/>\nyou got it folks<br \/>\nthe tiny turkey<br \/>\nhas arrived in Hell<\/p>\n<p>a factory somewhere<br \/>\nrun by the corporates<br \/>\nand the sweet baby<br \/>\none of many who<br \/>\nsuck and share<br \/>\nthe oxygen with humans<br \/>\nand dies a death<br \/>\nyes infront of you<\/p>\n<p>that miracle<br \/>\nGod Given such a priviledge<br \/>\ncreation all those aeons<br \/>\ndid proclaim<br \/>\nand human corporate<br \/>\ndevils they were counting<br \/>\ninto the pot of vile<br \/>\nbrimstone and flame<\/p>\n<p>the youngster falls<br \/>\nhis heart stops<br \/>\nits all over<br \/>\nimagine it<br \/>\ninfanticide times 5<br \/>\nmillion every moment<br \/>\nwhat a waste of creativity<br \/>\nkarma fate<br \/>\nso many little darlings<br \/>\nwon&#8217;t survive<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The second poem about the poor tiny baby turkeys and chickens that are considered runts, or are males and were to be used for eggs and so are crushed or packed into polythene bags and suffocated or simply just tossed around the floor and trod on.
