The Orca or the Killer whale
\nSo far advanced beyond the pale
\nHorse and any other soul
\nIts intelligence can never fail
\nA sharpness and acuteness
\nA tremendous breadth of mind
\nForeseeing and discriminating
\nAnd as cunning and you will find<\/p>\n
The Tyrannosaurus was a powerful
\nPredator
\nThe Orca is as powerful
\nAs can be
\nWith a wisdom and a power
\nBeyond all others
\nA prophet and in fact a luminary<\/p>\n
For SEA world to have captured
\nSuch a beast expecting it to
\nThen Be condescending in its approach
\nTo life all through
\nTo underestimate its power
\nTo intrude upon
\nIts faculties was ridiculous
\nIt just could not go on<\/p>\n
Their enlightenment is progressive
\nTheir consciousness is vast
\nSo scholastic with their learning
\nTheir die was already cast
\nBriefed and primed and instinctively
\nAble to be seen
\nPlausible and tenable
\nAnd able to be mean<\/p>\n
To underestimate their power
\nAnd detract from their desire
\nTo underrate their intelligence
\nIs to perish on their fire
\nTo capture them and force them
\nInto tanks in their own stew
\nWith a jaundiced eye of arrogance
\nAnd so prejudicial too<\/p>\n
Dawn died and others too have died
\nAnd Tilikum’s sperm they used
\nAll the while they were ignorant
\nOf just how they abused
\nWhat is the apex predator
\nNot since the dinosaur
\nHas any soul been as powerful
\nNor as dangerous to be sure<\/p>\n
And they played on that
\nIt was profits it was money
\nIn the bank
\nThey just could not be honest
\nNobody was frank
\nEnough to explain this clearly
\nA monster with a brain
\nMore exceptional than the CEO
\nWhere time alone could gain<\/p>\n
The killer whale was a dolphin
\nA really gigantic soul
\nWith all the brains and intelligence
\nAble to take the role
\nOf predator predominant
\nBut be expected to
\nBe holed up in some horrid tank
\nAnd be fed on dead food, who<\/p>\n
In their right minds could imagine
\nSuch a soul to be
\nNot affected by all this
\nAnd resort to insanity
\nTo delusions and hallucinations
\nTo frustration and lunacy
\nTo demonstrate and verify
\nAll that it could see<\/p>\n
A prisoner of conscience
\nFacing discrimination
\nThe oversight of negligence
\nUpon its whole creation
\nThe detachment from reality
\nOf the Sea World people who
\nWere unmindful and unhearing
\nAnd unseeing and untrue<\/p>\n
And these great pods
\nWho swim for miles
\nWho communicate in tongues
\nWhose use of sonar eclipses us
\nOur brain on lower rungs
\nOf the intelligence ladder
\nTo imagine they would be
\nHappy with the gruesome tanks
\nIn clear sight of the sea<\/p>\n
Their insouciance remarkable
\nTheir casualness was too
\nTheir superficiality and shallowness
\nAll through
\nAnd this master hunter
\nWho can vary every hunt
\nFrom the Salmon to the Herring
\nTo the dolphin to be blunt<\/p>\n
No animal alive today
\nCan fool with the Killer Whale
\nNo seal or whale not any soul
\nWhen the Orca is on their trail
\nThey work as a family
\nAll for one and one for all
\nAnd that will always beat the corporations
\nWho will fall<\/p>\n
All of us are earthlings
\nIndividuals who
\nWere put here to be creative
\nOf each other and thus to do
\nBe caring of our environments
\nThat all of us now share
\nNot so the corporations
\nThey d o not bloody well care<\/p>\n
About any of us now of course, it is money
\nProfit and margins and they
\nCare nothing for the earthlings
\nWe have all had our day
\nAnd so we are ignored and hunted
\nTrapped and left to bleed
\nThreatened thats the coporate way
