A mammal of distinction
\nWith an ancestry of old
\nThe largest brain ever
\nTo evolve or so I am told
\nIt has enormous courage
\nAnd audacity
\nA fearlessness beyond all fear
\nAnd wondrous chivalry<\/p>\n
ITs greatness is unmatched
\nIt transcends and does control
\nProdigious its intelligence
\nSo Aware of its role
\nIts supremacy is sovereign
\nSurpassing on the whole
\nEverything that lives and breathes
\nThe embodiment of soul<\/p>\n
Always it be curious
\nAnd creative through and through
\nIn infinity indefinitely
\nTimelessness it drew
\nAn Aeonian displacement
\nA perpetuity its birthright
\nAnd its expectations
\ncreatures of the light<\/p>\n
A strength and a great vigorousness
\nAnd a tolerance too
\nHoled up in some Sea World pond
\nJust expected to do
\nSimple tricks the man made stuff
\nAnd this a complex beast
\nWith far more grey cells
\nIn its head
\nIn which to enjoy its feast<\/p>\n
If it wanted to
\nNo trainer would stand an earthly chance
\nThe corporate chain of high command
\nWouldn’t get a second glance
\nTheir parentage lost in some womb
\nOf circumstance below
\nThe gutter of creation
\nLost in a world of woe<\/p>\n
They are a revelation
\nImpressive in their look
\nBlack and white and so in the light
\nClearly brought to book
\nAn emanation really
\nAn ocular display
\nA pleasure to each eye ball
\nWatching in the spray<\/p>\n
Conceptual and perceptive
\nInventive even so
\nAll can really speculate
\nAnd thus their thoughts can grow
\nExtra sensory perception
\nAnd mentation all the way
\nIs meditative and imaginative
\nWhen it comes to work and play<\/p>\n
Its attack is seldom futile
\nIts a mentor and a sage
\nIts ability to think things through
\nIs clearly off the page
\nBut it does have expectations
\nAnd can see hopelessness
\nIt anticipates the ugly
\nAnd feels the unwanted stress<\/p>\n
The power of retaliation
\nIt has and no doubt can
\nUse it as at SEA WORLD
\nIt will kill a woman
\nWhen it is crestfallen
\nAnd remembers the pain
\nOf capture and its family slaughtered
