We co exist with sharks
\nBut we are monsters in so many ways
\nToo big for our boots alas
\nDrowning in our own malaise
\nApex predators placed here
\nTo guide and to keep control
\nThe sharks the wolves
\nThese iconic souls
\nThey knew their precious role<\/p>\n
In the biosphere providing
\nA balance but sadly
\nWe drew upon our arrogance
\nWhen we entered their blue sea
\nWe removed their fins
\nFor sharks fin soup
\nThen threw their bodies back
\nThe wolf too all were hunted down
\nBoth tribes got no slack<\/p>\n
By slaughtering them
\nWill inevitably
\nMean we are killing ourselves too
\nThe sharks all have their identity
\nCore members so to do
\nThe dirty on them
\nHonestly we let our own selves down
\nWe break the bonds they tie
\nUs to our roots
\nAnd so we drown<\/p>\n
We imbalance all the oceans
\nOur preponderance of guilt
\nAnd disproportionate torture
\nAs life begins to wilt
\nUnder the tremendous
\nmistakes that we all make
\nOur fishing always wishing
\nWe could eat each others cake<\/p>\n
