\nAnd in Scotland I understand
\nLandowners cant afford
\nTo leave the groups of Beavers
\nNow flourishing in Tayside
\nBecause they are causing damage
\nTo the woodlands, the divide<\/p>\n
Between those who accept the need
\nTo go and shoot them dead
\nAnd those who feel their suffering
\nFrom woundings have now led
\nPeople to now openly
\nFeel this actions wrong
\nAnimals suffering in the wild
\nReally doesn’t belong<\/p>\n
In Scotland in this day and age
\nWhatever landowners feel
\nAnd using inappropriate guns
\nSomeone must get real
\nSitting on their bloody hands
\nWhilst pregnant beavers die
\nAnd those who have had babies
\nWe all now know they lie<\/p>\n
Somewhere waiting desperately
\nFor their mothers to return
\nWhich of course if they have been shot to death
\nMust fill us with concern
\nIt is illegal to use lead
\nover water I was told
\nBut post mortems show its happening
\nIts toxic and controlled<\/p>\n
So why the hell are they doing this
\nThey just don’t seem to care
\nSee a beaver shoot it dead
\nAnd hope no ones aware
\nAt Knapdale they have been introduced
\nOn a trial and seem to be
\nHappening it all seems good
\nBut at Tayside tragically<\/p>\n
The government has pussy footed around
\nApparently
\nAnd still
\nHave made no inroads
\nInto how it has to be
\nAnd so we see this evil
\nFor that is what is is
\nTrigger happy idiots

Wounding killing hurting
