The Ocean has authenticity
\nIts absoluteness spans
\nInto perpetuity
\nIts realism stands
\nThe course of time
\nAn immortal space
\nA universe alone
\nSo supportive of the landmass

A line into the great lake
\nThe swimmers came to see
\nAnd soon became the vanquished
\nFish extraordinary
\nTheir outwardness was obvious
\nThey connected they were one
\nThey filled our nets with sacrifice
\nIced up under the sun<\/p>\n
Greed becomes mans pointlessness
\nWaste his true reward
\nIllogical and misdirected
\nMore than we can afford
\nInsular and unconcerned
\nScience holds no place
\nCorporate strengths are paramount
\nIt something all must face<\/p>\n
The predominance of culture
\nThe supremacy of power
\nThe overriding principle
\nWith us every hour
\nPeerless and unapproachable
\nEclipsing all the rest
\nQuotas become realised

Exhausted seas are coming
\nPolluted with our sin
\nWe over fish the predators
\nAnd imbalance the spin

\nIt might suit our balance sheets
\nBut tragically it leads

\nSnowballing out of control
\nWith by-catch and with fish meal
\nWe all forgo our soul<\/p>\n

\nExist deep in the blue
\nInstead of giving a noble status
\nTo fish all that we do
\nIs over fish and waste fish
\nAnd regulatory nets
\nThat also increase sacrificial
\nQuantities and debts<\/p>\n

\nBustling to be
\nDisrespectful of the oceans
\nAnd the pollution there
\nThe sacrifice and the forfeiture

\nInsisting on particular fish
\nWhich actually negates
\nThe value of a species
\nAnd in essence may destroy
\nWhat otherwise would have continued on
\nWith much less to enjoy<\/p>\n
Rules and regulations
\nCreated by those who
\nHave no comprehension
\nOf what some of them do
\nShow an immaturity
\nHalf measures that will control
\nCreating a deficiency
\nA negligence of soul<\/p>\n
The monopolistic policies
\nDistanced from the mean
\nLeading to such prejudice
\nThe randomness thats been
\nThe food web being pillaged
\nWithout any understanding
\nOf what is actually happening
\nAnd really what we are handing<\/p>\n
To our children coming after us
\nOur ignorance is there
\nThe state of the worlds oceans
\nIs really hard to share
\nAnd our boats are going everywhere
\nSucking up so much
\nThey cannot reproduce as fast
\nWe are out of touch<\/p>\n
With the reality of each moment
\nOur impact is extreme
\nWith eco systems threatened
\nEach nation doesn’t seem
\nTo be aware or really care
\nOf longterm prospects here
\nAnd mesh sizes and by-catch
\nApparently its clear<\/p>\n
Fishermen are out there
\nBreaking laws each day
\nFactory ships are out there
\nStealing fish away
\nHigh grading and destroying
\nIts happening today
\nSo wasteful actually criminal
\nBut if they get away<\/p>\n
With doing it they will do it
\nDespite the sortee’s who
\nAre out there boarding suspect ships
\nBecause thats what they do
\nNow its aqua culture and genetics
\nComing on
\nSalt water fish are predators
\nSo with predation fish now gone
\nAll those banks of anchovies
\nSold to fish farms, they
\nAre taken out of the eco system
\nAnd the wild souls then must pay<\/p>\n
The mammals and the sea birds
\nAre suffering the loss
\nDespite the so called slaughtering
\nThis we have to toss
\nStraight back into their sick ring
\nThe huge losses that be
\nNow affecting everyone
\nOf the creatures in the sea<\/p>\n
And the fish meal manufacturers
\nIn Peru are suffering, they
\nDischarge the waste associated with it all
\nAway
\nPipe it back into the sea
\nBlood and shit and wonder
\nAnd watch the sulphur and methane
\nGrow and grow down under<\/p>\n
The cost to life is immeasurable
\nThe Bay of chipotle stinks
\nThe ocean floor impoverished
\nAnd yes so many links
\nWith habitat being destroyed
\nNow its everywhere
\nAnd with the slaughtering going on
\nWe know of this despair<\/p>\n
Gluts of other fish are seen
\nFor over fishing will
\nBring on lesser species
\nLike jelly fish the krill
\nAre being lost by humans
\nSiphoning it up so they
\nCan fill their nutrition capsules
\nTaking it away<\/p>\n
From the great whales and the sea
\nBirds
\nWhat with pollution too
\nMan un kind is so ignorant
\nAnd the supplement people too
\nIt costs more to produce a predator
\nFish in a fish farm
\nThan to catch it in its wild state
\nAlready we do harm<\/p>\n
Not only every species
\nAnd the oceans everywhere
\nBut because its down to bottom lines
\nWho cares about despair
\nFor environments
\nFor poor people
\nFor the species living there
\nIts a fucking free for all
\nOnce you get it you don’t share<\/p>\n
And so the plight of the oceans
\nIts the vegans really who
\nForgo the munching of the corpses
\nWhich so many still do
\nEvery fish they do not eat
\nLeaves it in the ocean blue
\nThe problem is the people
\nNow don’t want one they want two<\/p>\n
As for the children being born
\nMy understanding here
\nIs that carnivores are actually trolls
\nAnd so it does appear
\nThe oceans will be exhausted
\nIn about 30 years
\nSo we shall see starvation
\nThats how it appears<\/p>\n
Vegans should be rewarded
\nHave tax breaks thats a plan
\nThey sacrifice what others won’t
\nFor the sake of future man
\nThey are environmental angels
\nAnd as such they should be
\nRegarded as true saviours
