What do we live
\nwith this legacy for?
\na world full of hatred

\nwe’re killing ourselves

\nthe animal earthlings

Fooled and cajoled
\nwith the planned pipes of woe
\nthe Dolphins of Taiji
\nnow in the flow
\ntheir vast intelligence

\nin a bloodbath and curdling
\nviolent refrain.<\/p>\n
Our hearts the animals lovers

\ntheir deaths are a waste
\nthough these transaction grow
\nanimals traded, from the abyss
\nstolen, each sacrifices

What of the Seals
\nof Cape Cross and beyond
\nNamibia’s dark secret,
\nan unscrupulous bond

\nthat’s what we say.<\/p>\n
as alchemy is plundered
\nreplaced by desire
\nto replicate honour
\ntoo close to the wire
\nsuch deceit, and disregard
\nwith our arrogance, we
\nin our make believe world
\ndiscounted the Bee<\/p>\n
Those farm animals
\neverywhere
\nThe Cow, Sheep and Goat
\nnot forgetting the Pig
\na fellow of note
\nall admirably rewarded
\nfor docility
\nwith torture and murder
\nand depravity.<\/p>\n
billions of souls
\ncling to airborne desire
\nspirits whose own karma

\ndescend, a crescendo of bleating and moo’s

\nthe fallen perhaps
\nin the uglier realm
\nthe slaughterhouse violence
\nwhich does overwhelm<\/p>\n

\ntransported in great trucks
\nof death which do touch
\nthe hearts and the minds

The primates who put up
\nwith capture and strain
\nshipped around the world

\nwhether it be to Zoo’s
\nor the Laboratory
\nfor experimentation

The Blue fin
\nits energy bursts into view
\na great flash of silver
\nexciting the blue

\nsea birds and Dolphins
\nall of them pay

Elephants once again
\nTuskers alone
\nare picked off by Poachers
\nwho lower the tone
\nas to freedom and humility
\nfor a great soul
\nthe biggest land animal
\nstill there’s a toll<\/p>\n
Many still sacrificed
\nto the desire
\nto sell on their ivory
\nclearly this dire
\npractice continues
\nwhile shadows of fear
\ncontinue to loom

Man has an innate
\ndisregard for those who

\nand he can partake
\nof whatever he feels like

\nand their fur and their all
\nfor man has dominion
\nhe answers their call
\nworking with his bible

Alligators, Emu’s the wild Tribe
\nnow see

Sway over them
\nDogs and Cats too appear
\nRats even, insects

absolved from all guilt
\nand so animal souls
