Incarceration with neglect
\nCreates a maddening state
\nA mindlessness an irrationality
\nAnd insouciant of late
\nSlovenly and dirty
\nUnhinged and frenzied they
\nMinks and foxes trapped in cages
\nFor certain every day<\/p>\n
An apathy and hopelessness
\nNo meaning to ones being
\nIncoherent total stress
\nRaving almost gibbering
\nEvery hour is a challenge
\nLiving in their own mess<\/p>\n
Caged and unfit for such animals
\nForced into limping mode
\nLanguid and ineffective
\nIt really does not bode
\nWell for these fur bearing earthlings
\nWho suffer extraordinarily
\nOf wounds and skin eruptions
\nThey just need to be free<\/p>\n
Of these small wire cages
\nAnd they are dirty and smelly
\nAnd wrong
\nThese are wild animals
\nThey soon lose condition
\nIn cages they do not belong<\/p>\n
Neurological sickness and infection
\nMange urticaria too
\nConfinement and lack of wild food
\nIn their diets
\nCauses collapse so to do<\/p>\n
Traumas and lesions
\nAbrasions and scratches
\nThey soon suffer the worse for wear
\nThe remedy really is TLC
\nAnd in cages for fur
\nThats not going to be<\/p>\n
And many sweet souls perish in the cage
\nThe bane of their lives
\nStuck there for an age
\nWounding their feet
\nTrapping their claws
\nAnd without treatment
\nThey get infected jaws<\/p>\n
Life for these souls
\nIs bitter and tragic
\nThey suffer so much
\nThe wildness the magic
\nGone from their lives
\nCruelty reigns
\nAnd all of this torture
\nThere are no gains<\/p>\n
Except for the fur hags
\nWho wear their mink coats
\nIts a wonder they don’t scream
\nThe minks and the stoats
\nAnd foxes and beavers
\nAll suffering so
\nSo that These bloody starlets
\nAnd pop singers show
\nJust how ignorant they have become
