Potten End was always a friend
\nTo me at the farm and the orchard,I
\nLoved it I wouldn’t have changed it for the world
\nWhich is now why
\nI leave behind great memories
\nOf the long grass and the fly
\nOf the mower that I barked at
\nAnd why I liked to lie<\/p>\n
Those delicious cucumber slices
\nWith celtic salt for tea
\n“Satos” we were the best of friends
\nAnd Dave was good to me
\nHe a gentle giant
\nWho was friendly and I know
\nI am going to really miss him
\nWhere ever I go<\/p>\n
When Luca and Claudia sometimes came
\nLuca’s funny tones
\nMade me bark my head off
\nIt grated in my bones
\nI know I liked too many treats
\nThough with my injections, I
\nJust had to be more careful
\nbut everyone knew why<\/p>\n
Everyone was aware
\nAnd helped me that was good for sure
\nWhen Rob whispered through his teeth
\n“Whassa”and whats more
\nI went around and chewed my bedding
\nEven Claudia’s knee
\nAnd got hold of a tea towel
\nAnd shook it violently<\/p>\n
I really enjoyed the orchard
\nWhere I went every day
\nIt was where the grass grew very tall
\nWhere I could hide away
\nOr snuggle up on the sofa
\nNext to Rob my friend
\nEspecially when it was cold outside
\nI prayed it would never end<\/p>\n
We had a lot of fun there
\nAnd I was sad to leave
\nDeath comes to us all in fact
\nBut what I did achieve
\nWas to have a friend called Wizard
\nAnd “Satos” and Dear Rob
\nAnd Claudia and Luca
\nAnd Dave yes I now sob<\/p>\n
Bear Man and Delilah
\nWho shared their home with me
\nAnd riding in the dragon car
\nAnother memory
\nSo much was good in my life
\nSo idyllic actually
\nBut I am off now to the Rainbow Bridge
\nTo meet Wizard who should be<\/p>\n
Skulking around some corner
\nReady to give me a start
\nI am going to miss you all
\nFor you all are in my heart
\nI know Rob did his best for me
\nAnd I’m really grateful for
\nThe time I had
