We all have different given names
\nIts repetition that we know
\nIt reminds us of our destiny
\nAnd within that name we grow<\/p>\n
I was known as “Presley”
\nThe King of rock and roll
\nI learned to move my body
\nAs a Dachshund does you know<\/p>\n
For me it was the perfect name
\nI loved it very much
\nI had a brother “Wizard”
\nWhen he passed, we kept in touch<\/p>\n
He passed on just three years ago
\nAlso in January
\nSo I agreed to join him
\nIt was always set to be<\/p>\n
I will always have fond memories
\nOf the farm house in the trees
\nThe shadows cast at eventide
\nHow they danced there in the breeze<\/p>\n
The owls that hoot
\nThe pigeons that coo
\nI have to say
\nI lived with ROB
\nMy master and was free to roam
\nAll day<\/p>\n
In every life there are angels
\nWho shine their light on you
\nAnd Luca boy and his mummy
\nClaudia were always true<\/p>\n
Friends to me, they accompanied me
\nOn walks and in their car
\nThe dragon came to call for me
\nAnd I met the cats who are<\/p>\n
“Delilah” and dear “Bearman”
\nAnd we all got on a treat
\nThere was always this Pi water
\nAnd something nice to eat<\/p>\n
Never a bad word spoken
\nAlways love and light
\nI am off to join dear “Wizard”
\nBut one last visit in plain sight<\/p>\n
Thank you all for the wonderment in my life
