He needs to be with other elephants
\nIts cruel and unkind to be there
\nIts an insensibility sadly

And then they don’t know
\nwhat they are doing

He just wants to give him bananas
\nHe’s uneasy around him you see
\nIts a tedious business mucking about

And Elephants do get bored easily
\nThey need a way out yes they do
\nBig bulky pachyderms wondering why

Monks do not work at remembering
\nThis is the problem they face
\nThe temple really is no sanctuary
\nIt might be for monks and a few hangers on
\nBut Elephants need to be free<\/p>\n
They will fret and clearly feel jumpy
\nThey get skittish and nervy for they
\nNeed to be knowing what they are doing
