\nSufferers of HIV a real pain
\nTheir facing poachers
\nWith complete disdain<\/p>\n

\nA tail is supreme it brings power
\nSo its said
\nBush meat is thought to be massive
\nThese days
\nAnd giraffes give a good return
\nSo Shooting one pays<\/p>\n
Niger is helping to fight off
\nThe pain
\nTheir local beer is call giraffe
\nNow a chain
\nof locals are
\nKeeping an eye on them, they
\nAre helping to conserve

The canned hunting evils

The skin it is durable
\nAnd can be used
\nFor clothing for hats
\nFor bags shoes
\nAbused
\nWe abuse all those animals
\nThat we can find
\nTragically soon
\nThere will be none left behind<\/p>\n

\nTo me that so clear
\nIts beautiful doing that

\nOut of the equation

All of this action
\nThis frightful display
\nOf trophies and hunting prowess
\nThere’s no way
\nThis is sustainable

\nWe must tolerate
\nAll of the species

\nWe encroach on their land
\nWhere they were born
\nWe expect them to move
\nWhen we all have to share
\nThe land we call
\nAfrica and everywhere<\/p>\n
Our arrogance takes us
\nBeyond what is right
\nOur ignorance tells
\nUs no matter we are right
\nBut truthfully we have to
\nNow be aware
\nDraw back and watch them

The Giraffe is iconic
\nA statuesque soul
\nA complete vegetarian

\nA dignified earthling
